The discover here hasn't stopped it, This is the first Android product with the Exynos 5 Dual
CPU, and it's fast. Yes, it's only a dual core vs. the quad core Exynos 4 found in the
Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, Samsung Galaxy SIII and Galaxy Note II, but it not only
benchmarks as well, but it feels supremely fast. Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with Project Butter
speed optimizations no doubt help, but it makes our Nexus 7 running the same OS feel a tad
sluggish. The tablet has 2 gigs of RAM and your choice of 16 or 32 gigs of storage. The bad
news? There's no microSD card slot and no USB host for external flash drives and hard
drives.

believed to be a Nexus branded device with a 7-inch form factor. The tablet will come in
black and white colour variants and will be priced between $129 to $149. This is a bit more
expensive than the previously perceived price tag of $99. This low end tablet from Asus will

IPS panel, which means viewing angles will not be as great. The device now is believed to
sport a VIA WM8950 chipset featuring a single Cortex-A9 core and Mali-400 GPU along with
1GB of RAM. The internal memory found here is said to be 16GB and as far as camera
optics are concerned, the device will feature a 1.3MP camera.
The last leak surrounding the $99 Nexus tablet came via a photograph on Picasa where a
device from Asus, which goes by the codename ME172V, had made an appearance in the
EXIF data. The EXIF data revealed that the resolution of the device is 1280 x 720 pixels.

A Sunday evening after the world stage that is CES seems a baffling time to announce the
MeMO Pad, but if you know anyone looking for a sub-$200 tablet, this may be an option
worth exploring. In this writer’s opinion, however, he $50 step up to the Google Nexus 7 and
its quad-core Tegra 3 is worth the expenditure. The MeMO Pad will be available beginning
this month in “selected markets from authorized ASUS resellers.”
For the time being, there are no details about its technical specifications or size, but reports
are indicating that the $99 tablet is already on Google’s and ASUS’ work table. According to
