every year on 17th of March.

was abducted and enslaved by
Irish marauders.

4. King Loghaire bought St Patrick
as a slave and was very
impressed by St Patrick and
chose to accept Christianity .

5. He also gave Patrick freedom to
spread Christianity throughout
Ireland.

6. The real color of St. Patrick’s day
was not green but blue.

7. Green came to be used for a symbol
for Ireland. The first church founded
by St Patrick is located at Mag-inis
