- Make a note of it - Evernote's free app allows users to easily save and search for any text, photo, or video file. The company's flagship product, Evernote, organizes information on desktop computers and mobile devices. Users create and save text notes, pictures, PDFs, and other media files, and Evernote's technology enables any text (even from, say, a label or a sign in a photograph) to become searchable and indexed. Files are saved as "Notes" and groups of files are organized as "Notebooks." The Evernote app is also available in a premium version that offers more storage space and no advertisements. Evernote counts about 11 million users. The company was founded by StepanPachikov, who also launched Parascript.

It was 3am and he was ready to go to bed and tell his staff next morning the miserable news. Just as he was about to get to sleep, he received one final e-mail. It was from a user who wanted to thank Libin for the great work with Evernote. The user really loved the product and said he could even invest if the company needed the money.At 3AM Libin and the Evernote fan, who happened to be from Sweden, opened up Skype and in 20 minutes the basic details of the agreement were done. Next week, the fan wired $500 000 to Evernote and basically saved the company from bankruptcy
