Rain GardensLow Impact Development A rain garden is a simple, yet beautiful way to improve water quality and reduce flooding by collecting runoff and allowing it to percolate back into the ground. A rain garden is a shallow depression created in the landscape which is planted with native plants. Rain gardens are designed to hold water for less than 48hrs.
