Ammonia – is a natural by-product of decaying animals,
plants, bacteria, animal, and human wastes.
Bicarbonate of Soda – It is a cheap and non-toxic effective
stain abrasive remover that is made from soda ash.
Corn flour – a natural thickening agent used in cooking, but is
also a highly versatile greasy stain remover.
Cream of Tartar – natural by-product of the wine making
process that comes from the sediment left at the bottom of the
barrels after fermentation
Denture Cleaning Tablets – excellent tannin stain
remover.
Eucalyptus Oil - natural antiseptic comes from eucalyptus
leaves
WHERE DO STAINS GO?
1.Each group must identify the different types of natural stain remover.
2. The group will be given names of the different types of natural stain
remover, their corresponding definition according to how it is being used,
and the proper application of each stain remover.
3. Students should match the names with its description, and corresponding
applications accordingly, then finally post it on the board. You will all be
given approximately 15 minutes to finish the activity. Timer will be
projected.
4. The reporter of the group must present their work in front.
5. Teacher facilitates the activity and sees if there is any misconception.
6. Output will be graded based on the rubrics given to each group.
7. Output will be graded after flushing the correct answer.

NATURAL STAIN REMOVER
Alcohol-Is a very effective multi purpose, tough stain remover
application: It can be done by diluting 1-cup alcohol in 2 cups water for use on
acetates,triacetates and non-colorfast fabrics.
Ammonia -Is a natural by-product of decaying animals, plants, bacteria,
animal and human wastes
application:Is a useful alkaline antidote to acidic vinegar, Always wear gloves
and a mask and make sure the room is well ventilated.
Bicarbonate of soda-It is a cheap and very effective non – toxic abrasive
stain remover that is made from soda ash
application:Mixed with lemon juice, bicarbonate of soda makes a powerful
all purpose cleaner and stain remover for sinks, baths and kitchen
surfaces
NATURAL STAIN REMOVER
Bread-A slice of white bread removes dirty fingermarks from walls and fresh dirt
marks from non – washable fabrics
application: Soak a slice of bread in soda water and place it over the stain .
Cornflour-Is a natural thickening agent used in cooking, but is also a highly

application:Rub it into the stain and leave for 30 minutes and brush off.
Cream of tartar-natural by product of the wine-making process that comes from
the sediment left at the bottom of the barrels after fermentation
application:Dilute 2 tablespoons cream of tartar in 1 litre warm water and
soak for 30 minutes. Mix to a paste with lemon juice to make spot
stain remover – leave for 30 minutes and rinse
NATURAL STAIN REMOVER
Denture cleaning tablets-An excellent tannin stain remover for white cottons.
application:Dissolve as directed and apply as a spot stain
remover with a soft cloth or soak for 1 hour.
Eucalyptus oil-Natural antiseptic comes from eucalyptus leaves.
application:Apply by using a clean white cloth to tar stains after softening with
glycerine

  • 21. WHERE DO STAINS GO? 1.Each group must identify the different types of natural stain remover. 2. The group will be given names of the different types of natural stain remover, their corresponding definition according to how it is being used, and the proper application of each stain remover. 3. Students should match the names with its description, and corresponding applications accordingly, then finally post it on the board. You will all be given approximately 15 minutes to finish the activity. Timer will be projected. 4. The reporter of the group must present their work in front. 5. Teacher facilitates the activity and sees if there is any misconception. 6. Output will be graded based on the rubrics given to each group. 7. Output will be graded after flushing the correct answer.

NATURAL STAIN REMOVER Alcohol-Is a very effective multi purpose, tough stain remover application: It can be done by diluting 1-cup alcohol in 2 cups water for use on acetates,triacetates and non-colorfast fabrics. Ammonia -Is a natural by-product of decaying animals, plants, bacteria, animal and human wastes application:Is a useful alkaline antidote to acidic vinegar, Always wear gloves and a mask and make sure the room is well ventilated. Bicarbonate of soda-It is a cheap and very effective non – toxic abrasive stain remover that is made from soda ash application:Mixed with lemon juice, bicarbonate of soda makes a powerful all purpose cleaner and stain remover for sinks, baths and kitchen surfaces

NATURAL STAIN REMOVER Bread-A slice of white bread removes dirty fingermarks from walls and fresh dirt marks from non – washable fabrics application: Soak a slice of bread in soda water and place it over the stain . Cornflour-Is a natural thickening agent used in cooking, but is also a highly versatile greasy stain remover application:Rub it into the stain and leave for 30 minutes and brush off. Cream of tartar-natural by product of the wine-making process that comes from the sediment left at the bottom of the barrels after fermentation application:Dilute 2 tablespoons cream of tartar in 1 litre warm water and soak for 30 minutes. Mix to a paste with lemon juice to make spot stain remover – leave for 30 minutes and rinse
