Description:
The Regular School Building Program specifically targets schools which are
categorized under the Red Zone or those which have a ratio of 56 or more students to
one classroom: and the Black Zone, or schools which make use of makeshift
classrooms and facilities.
The standard DepEd design is 7m x 9m classroom for rural areas with a classroom-
student ratio of 1:45. This standard also applies to all public secondary schools,
regardless of location and class size.
In CAR, the CY 2011 projects (carry-over) have a total project cost of Php 146.5 M.
