2. THE EVENT
Cece & Melinda of Raymi Productions created The Taste of the Gold Coast in 2009. The Taste of the
Gold Coast assembles the top neighborhood restaurants where the head chefs offered delectable
tastes off their gourmet menus. The First Annual “Taste of The Gold Coast” took place at the Sutton
Place Hotel in 2009, this year will mark the Third Annual Taste of the Gold Coast. The Taste of the Gold
Coast is open to the public with tickets available online and at the door and bringing in hundreds of
guests each year.
The North Dearborn Association is partnered with The Taste of the Gold Coast as the official non-
profit beneficiary. The North Dearborn Association has been serving the Gold Coast for over 50 years
and is an influential organization dedicated to the preservation and beautification of its Chicago
Near North neighborhood. A portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to the NDA.
We are proud to announce that this year Alderman Brendan Reilly (of Chicago’s 42nd Ward) and his
wife will emcee the event. Other notable Chicagoans including Candace Jordan, Former
model/actress and society blogger will attend as honorary guests.
