Preparing a research plan
Promising presentation - Rana Abdullah Tahan

https://orcid.org/0000-0002-1093-7740
Before starting to write the research must develop a
complete plan and draw the structure of the
research and determine its areas and prospects that
will be the field of research and study and should
not be said planning an engineering research to
coordinate its discussion and harmony between its
parts and show what is achieved highlight and
focus on scientific research.
Research without a carefully thought-out plan is a
waste of time and waste of effort because it is
neglected and start writing research without it,
which is forced to rewrite after draining a lot of
time and effort.
Where it turns out that the lack of coherence and
coordination between the detectives among
themselves, it is difficult to reorganize the research
after writing it.
The research plan is to draw a complete picture of
it and each element in it completes an aspect of that
image this stage is the most appropriate stages to
arrange the topics of research and coordination as it
is still the heads of pens and broad lines, but after
writing and walking in the research, the
modification is difficult and more complex.
This will help to provide the researcher with
important elements and put them in broad lines that
are milestones in the way of research and writing,
but are the key to his topics.
To highlight the research in its elements and
coordinated main lines will help to address the
topic and study it in a calm way and organized
thinking vision of this group of elements in front of
the researcher gives him a complete view of the
topic and allows complete mentally before the
work of the draft and then he himself can criticize
and examine it
Walk on this path and enables the researcher to
realize the citizen that needs focus and attention
each element in the plan is a major topic in the
research and it grows and the more he studies the
deeper element in the plan must go in the direction
of the result naturally and non-expensive logical
end and conclusion nature that the result reached
by the research is the logical end and the
conclusion that paved the previous studies.
The importance of the plan and the main elements
should be taken care of at this stage and formulated
in a sound expressive template that makes it
possible to know what is meant by it and what we
want to say about it when writing the research
The researcher tries to avoid complex complexities
and divisions that are difficult for the reader and
send him confusion and so the more clear and
simplified the divisions the reader assimilates the
more comprehensive and can not claim that a
single plan is sound , but it can be in many forms
and models, but no matter how different and
multiple it must contain:
- The main project in the research or problem
-Key ideas and other help
-Documents and sources
These things to develop a complete plan for the
research and also explains the approach that will be
followed by the researcher and the practical
division of research topics in its doors and chapters
successful plan in which anyone can reason and
understand logically and follow through the ideas
of the researcher and his inclinations
What is the research plan:
The researcher is required to produce a plan for his
research usually and the request to prepare the plan
by the supervisor usually or by the committee or
the body responsible for accepting the research or
reject or modify any plan
The steps and preparation of the research and its
completion are related to the approval and approval
of the research plan
The research plan is the broad lines that are guided
by the researcher for the implementation of the
research and this means that the research plan plans
to research before its implementation for the
purpose of identifying all its dimensions and
aspects starting with his problem, importance and
objectives and collect his data and information and
that the research plan establishes and clarifies .
The research plan is its structure and an integrated
image of it each element in it completes an aspect
of that image and each research a general plan that
varies from one research to another depending on
the topic or type of material or a specific duration
of the research and other influences that relate to
the different circumstances that surround each
topic.
Purposeof the research plan :
From the topic of developing a research plan is of
great importance to researchers and supervisors, the
purposes of the research plan are summarized in
the following:
-View and provide a brief description of the
research problem
-Inventory and presentation of previous studies
related to the research problem
-Determine the goal or objectives of the research
that should be what the researchers went in
previous studies
-Determine the procedures of the researcher and
the steps that the researcher will follow in
addressing the research problem
-Diagnosis and inventory of the nature of data and
information needed by the research and determine
the means and methods of collection.
-Organize and tabulate the research plan in the
optimal way to address the research problem with a
definition of the research methods that will be
followed by the researcher.
The researcher is the initial plan after he has
formed a clear idea of some clarity about his
subject and the final plan is a detail and branching
of all the main and sub-problems the researcher
may appear in the part of the feedback he receives
or after consulting experienced in the field of his
research or taking information from an institution
or it provides him with scientific information if it is
of reliable relevance to his research and thus helps
him to develop a plan Good highlighting its
elements in coordinated lines that facilitate the
researcher to address the topic and study it
organized and realize the research gaps and
weaknesses.
The researcher determines the subject of his
research and preliminary readings about it, which is
important and fundamental, especially for graduate
students, where they require them to solve the
interest leads to a look at what blocks on the topic
of research and this is useful in investigating the
various studies that have been done on the subject
or on what surrounds the view
Importance of research plan:
-The researcher must determine the goal of his
study with the required accuracy because the
researcher without the efforts that precede the
preparation of a good plan does not have an in-
depth picture of the topic of research and its
branches and limits is committed not in accordance
with the specified period of time for the
possibilities available to him.
- Help the researcher to determine the easiest way
to lead him to the specified goal easily
- The plan helps the researcher to imagine the
obstacles that may be encountered when carrying
out the research regardless of the topic if the study
is above its temporal or physical possibilities or
may prepare for those obstacles before starting the
implementation of the research and so must himself
fall into a stalemate that makes him regret
technically after the choice
-The plan also ensures the researcher to save time,
effort and money does not have to change his
subject has walked steps or return frequent times to
the sources of scientific material, especially if it
requires expensive travel or requires passing
difficulties caused by the loss of time and effort
-The plan helps the researcher and the authorized
committee in evaluating the research even before
its implementation, in terms of its importance and
estimating the size of the effort required by the
research and the ability of the researcher and the
clarity of his approach.
- The plan provides the supervisor of the researcher
a basis for the evaluation of the research project
and also helps him to supervise it during the period
of its implementation research.
-The written plan provides the researcher a
reference and a guide to him during the conduct of
the research is easy to refer to when he forgets
some elements in the event of an emergency, the
presence of a written plan helps the researcher to
evaluate the successful steps of the research .
Research plan objective:
- The research fills an important theoretical and
practical need in the field of specialization
- The student fully understands his research
problem and has the knowledge and skills
necessary to do the research and that he has
identified his research clearly helps to start
work in which the registration of the topic and
then fit to be supervised by one of the
professors specialized in the Department.
Elements of the research plan:
The scientific research plan and its presentation
decide the fate of the research approved by the
specialized scientific councils of universities to
ensure the accuracy of its formulation and
provisions of its elements in a way that highlights
the importance of research on the one hand and the
efficiency of the researcher on the other hand.
It is recognized in the field of research that each
research nature and this follows to have a plan that
fits and fits, but no matter how different or varied
their fields are supposed to include the following
elements:
- Search title :
Is the beginning of the research, which is the first
thing seen by the reader should be modern and
appropriate to the topic and identical to the ideas
after it is the one that in a brief phrase indicates the
content of the study intended by it, the good title is
the one that takes into account the following things
to be clear about
Systematic scientific study requires that the title
carries a scientific character and calm sober away
from the sensational propaganda phrases, which are
more appropriate and the researcher excludes
descriptive titles that do not suit the style of the
modern era.
Preferably in choosing to be visible of a holistic
nature so that if the study called exposure to its
branches and sections of what was considered this
on the subject and as if the researcher discovered
his capacity Narrows with the time specified for
him, can act in short.
Importance of research:
This aspect can be highlighted through what
comes, including highlighting some aspects or
describing or explaining the validity of some
theories and ideas or not, filling some gaps in the
available information and revealing the mask of
some wrong changes, correcting some approaches
and solving some scientific problems and adding
new scientific or expected developments.
-Topic report :
This is tantamount to identifying the idea of the
basis in the research, and a report of what the
researcher intended to do in a focused phrase
highlights the characteristics of the problem that
will be discussed that this paragraph in the plan is
the real key to research and formulation of the topic
of research on this image helps in two important
things, including determining the study approach
and direction and intensifying efforts and studies in
the direction of the research topic and here it is
necessary to find a balance between the
abbreviation and give a full idea of the research.
-Search tab :
Take into account in the tab topics to be clear
logical sections tab is not exaggerated in the partial
divisions, istiktharamneh leads to confusion of the
reader and the inability to link between them.
-Research methodology:
It means the art of the correct Organization of a
series of many ideas in order to reveal the truth,
here is exposed to how to present and put the issues
of the subject and the means to be taken by the
researcher to reach the results are required so that
the research and its methods and means clearly
defined and specifically indicate the type of
scientific method used in it.
-Previous studies:
The researcher is supposed to see the previous
studies of the subject of research, but to study it
critically and examiner study selects the most
important books and studies that have been
completed in it to determine the acceptable ones ,
and rejected and shows the extent of their relevance
to the subject and the importance of the details
found in them
It is through these critical looks that the Examiner
chooses to identify whether the researcher reached
further than the previous research or he failed to
absorb those studies requires that the researcher
provide a descriptive list of them and present the
substantive content in an acronym
The results of this research Step are to avoid
repetition in research and find compelling reasons
to study the chosen topic.
- Identify the problem :
It is clear that the title of the problem search a
certain framework and limited phrases may not
meet all that he wants to study and as the title may
suggest topics not in the immortality addressed and
act in the title increase or decrease may lose its
impact and effectiveness required, and that this
element in the plan is the right place
In addition to the other to be excluded from what is
not felt by the main title of the research, noting all
this excess or lack and mentioning it under this
element of the plan is necessary to determine the
course of the topic from the beginning and so that it
is not a gap taken by the discussants.
- Schedule research phases :
To ensure that the researcher to complete his
research in the period specified for him and this
requires him to put a time schedule for each stage
of the implementation of a person who is useful in
completing it in the required time, and it is useful
to recall that there is no room in the plan for details
and crowded with information so much, the
position of this and after a real excitement of
enthusiasm for the subject and love.
It is known a priori in the field of research that he
does not sign in the plan to be updated from the
first attempt and as it is supposed to be final, it is
often subject to change and amendment, if it is
recognized that the horizons of the researcher in the
subject of research increases as the introduction of
some amendments that increase the value of
research and multiply its importance.
Some shortcomings of researchers in the planning
stages of research and review of previous studies
Here are some of the shortcomings of researchers
in the planning stages of research and review of
previous studies
Research planning stage
1 -acceptance of the researcher to the problem of
research that comes to his mind at first glance or
suggest him from algirdon depth in its importance
and agreement with its capabilities and future
ambitions.
2 -Choosing a vague or wide-ranging research
problem or complex in its requirements when
implemented
3 -suggest loose or unnecessary questions
-
4 propose vague or immeasurable hypotheses or
completely ignored in research and sometimes
many others.
5 -intentional or unintentional omission of an
important factor or aspect of the research, such as
omitting the review of previous studies and
research sufficiently or not to determine the means
and methods of collecting, analyzing and
interpreting data.
6-his indulgence in the development of a well-
thought-out plan for research, which loses him an
organized tool directed to the responsibilities
prescribed to get the desired solutions to his
problem
-
7 not showing the research scheme to a specialist
in statistical analysis to know the design of the
most appropriate experiment for the studied
problem and thus distribute the coefficients and
repetitions according to this design.
1-Review of previous studies
-speed and acceleration of browsing the
researcher for studies and previous research,
which leads him to bypass some information
important for his research or leads him to search
a modern studied problem.
- insufficient knowledge of the researcher on
further research approach to the topic of the
problem .
-only the researcher to see the summaries of
research without relying on the sources of these
studies .
- focus the researcher on the results of previous
studies without methods and measurements and
methods of processing the data, which may lose
with him, the researcher some information or
ideas directed to the tools, procedures and
methods of research.
-error and inaccuracy in writing the names of
researchers who conducted these studies or the
statement of years of preparation and this error
falls within the concept of ethics of scientific
research if the researcher should not convey any
idea or result or information without reference to
its reference to show its credibility.
Signs of a good plan:
-Be detailed on the problem to be studied so that if
the title changes, there would be between the
vocabulary of the plan and the new title, and this
will be more clear in some elements such as the
element of determining the problem and previous
studies.
-when reading a paragraph identifying a problem,
the reader feels that the plan author has read
enough about the subject of the study and realized
its dimensions, and the definition takes the form of
hypotheses.
-the element of the previous studies does not
express the amount read by the researcher, but how
it approaches and leads to receive to the point
where the researcher will start his study.
-full clarity of the collection of scientific material
so as not to leave much room for questions about
the types of research sources and available and
unavailable and their places of existence and the
way to access them and the way to obtain them.
-the standards of field studies should be closely
related to the topic of research and move away
from generality and coordinated with paragraphs
identify a problem and provide the necessary
answers to research questions.
-clarity and accuracy of rules related to the analysis
of scientific material.
-the plan gives the reader a clear vision of what
will be the research after implementation, not in
terms of the content of the results , but in terms of
the interdependence of the contents of previous
studies and the method of their review and terms or
contents of the questionnaire or criteria proposed to
be used in the study
- another person can implement the plan without
the general results vary a lot.
-accurate documentation of direct and indirect
quotations in the whole plan, whether when
reviewing previous studies or when designing the
curriculum . Reasons for the failure of researchers
to convince the members of the seminar with their
research plans:
-The researcher does not learn from the mistakes
of others through the presence of Al-samnarat and
listen to criticism and observations directed to
researchers
-The researcher unfortunately presents his research
plan with a long structural introduction research
and does not go directly to focus on the research
problem, so the committee is forced to boycott the
seminar calling him to enter into the topic directly.
-The researcher presents his research problem in a
way that is not done by a careful understanding of
the components of the research circle and its
logical sequence , the research circle starts with the
problem and ends with the solution , and its center
is to identify the researcher accurate to this
problem, which leads directly to the understanding
of the committee:
-to explain to the committee the question that he
wants to answer, or a situation that represents a
difficulty for him or a disturbing situation that
needs to be put an end to it and does not confuse
his problem with the objectives of the research.
- The Five Questions agreed upon by
methodologists when determining a research
problem should be (who, where, when, what, why
-to formulate his research problem language
formulation in which he avoids unnecessary words
until the committee understands what exactly he
wants
- explain to the committee exactly how he chose his
research problem:
-His own experience and the experience of others
or from the scientific literature that showed him
that his research problem will not be addressed by
these literature
-The theories in which he saw shortcomings and
chose them from the theories
-So what did he choose to explain or Takeda
-Statement of contradictions, methodological
errors or consensus of opinions
5
- the researcher may have chosen the idea of Tarat
in his head and make it his research problem, it
appeared that did not make the effort required and
sufficient to choose the problem that will search for
it turns out that he did not see the field in the public
domain that the research problem within its limits
and is supposed to show
- Issues that contain this problem and what its
importance and the elements that represent the
problem need to be solved
- Background of the problem and the arguments
that revolved around it and what is needed from
them to an advanced search
- Sub-sub-problems associated with the basic
problem these problems are considered as means
by which to identify an original goal in a good
way that can contribute to the solution of a
problem
- The researcher did not prepare himself to
answer ten questions at least may be asked by the
committee, namely :
- Did the researcher see the previous messages in
the same field or refer to the relevant section to
find out what he needs from research before
choosing his topic
- Was he able over the years to determine that
there were more important research problems
Are there ethical and ethical barriers to research
Can I do a practical search ?
-
Does the researcher have enough time and full
energy to complete the research and complete it
on time
Does the researcher have the knowledge,
skills,experiences and experiences that enable
him to conduct research
Can the results of the research be of scientific,
social or educational value ?
-
Can search results be applied in the real world
You can extract from the research of a problem
new problems that need other research.
The research plan is the outline that guides the
researcher when carrying out his study and it is
important for the researcher to realize that all
methodological errors in the research or
scientific thesis are due to poor preparation of a
plan.
Believe interested in scientific research issues
and methods that errors that researchers fall and
lead to the rejection of their research plans are
due to the following
:
Incorrect perceptions in the minds of researchers
about the nature and importance of the research
plan as follows
-
A plan is nothing more than a requirement for the
researcher to start writing his scientific thesis
.
-
The plan does not require as a protector of
scientific knowledge and previous studies, but just
a brief of them, so a few of them enable the
researcher to prepare a plan
-
The preparation of a plan in a short time helps the
researcher to finish his message in a short period of
time
The researcher's belief that a plan can be modified
or changed after its approval.
-Many of these errors are due to the fact that the
researcher does not understand at all the
importance of the stage before preparing a plan and
the importance of preparing it under the
supervision of a professor specialized in the field of
his research problem. the reality of what happens is
that the researcher is preparing a plan without
consulting a professor-
In one of the reports of errors of research
plans:
It is very important for a researcher to take some
time to find a specialized and qualified professor at
a University who shares his research interests.
-That although many researchers continue to attend
the seminar and participate in its discussions and
take advantage of observations to the contrary than
intended, for example, that one of the researchers
has understood that the difference between what is
modern and what this is that the researchers come
out of the seminar hall as they entered it with any
new ones.
The most important mistakes that researchers make
when preparing their research plans:
-The researcher hasten to determine the day of the
presentation on the seminar before he is ready for it
-The researcher does not deliver the professors
copies of the plan before the presentation or to
submit it late does not allow to see them and study
them adequately.
-Lack of interest of the researcher in the use of
illustrative ways to facilitate the presentation and
facilitate the listeners who have not received a copy
of the follow-up plan and understanding.
-He has not trained himself to present his research
plan to prepare a place as if he were going to
discuss his message.
- Do not accuse the researcher in the form of paper
introduction and consider it just papers of the
simplest rules of writing scientific correct,
especially in terms of form, such as in the size of
the plan and numbering pages.
-Not focusing on one goal in each chapter of your
research
-Irregular backup of your search files
-Neglect and failure to keep everything you read
from previous research and files related to your
research material
-The search results are not related to the objectives
of the search and does not answer his questions
-Lack of clarity of your research idea or objectives
-Frequent subheadings in your search message
-There is no problem to search for solutions or the
problem is general and unspecified
-The research topic is general and does not focus
on a specific topic
- Professors ' guidance to graduate students
for research plan :
- The title of the plan must contain an
independent variable and continue to study
- Must be a short title
- Prefer to stay away from the word descriptive
study or experimental or the word experimental
research.
-Must not write in the title of the word
descriptive study or field because it exists plan
-When choosing a spatial field of study must
take into account the good of the researcher,
dictated by a supervising authority place that is
being studied for its own considerations and not
scientific considerations.
-Should not write in the title of the message area
of spatial or temporal or type of study and only
mentions it within the study for the possibility of
the researcher can not conduct the study in terms
of not standing on conducting it or closing place
Conclusion:
The researcher is keen to schedule the stages of
research during the preparation of a plan to be keen
to complete his research in a specific period for
him and this requires him to set a time limit for
each stage of a person is committed to the
implementation of what is useful in completing it
in the required time.finally, it is useful to recall that
there is no room in the plan for details and filling it
with much information.

Preparing a research plan

  • 1. Preparing a research plan Promising presentation - Rana Abdullah Tahan PHD researcher https://orcid.org/0000-0002-1093-7740
  • 2. Before starting to write the research must develop a complete plan and draw the structure of the research and determine its areas and prospects that will be the field of research and study and should not be said planning an engineering research to coordinate its discussion and harmony between its parts and show what is achieved highlight and focus on scientific research. Research without a carefully thought-out plan is a waste of time and waste of effort because it is neglected and start writing research without it, which is forced to rewrite after draining a lot of time and effort. Where it turns out that the lack of coherence and coordination between the detectives among themselves, it is difficult to reorganize the research after writing it. The research plan is to draw a complete picture of it and each element in it completes an aspect of that image this stage is the most appropriate stages to arrange the topics of research and coordination as it is still the heads of pens and broad lines, but after
  • 3. writing and walking in the research, the modification is difficult and more complex. This will help to provide the researcher with important elements and put them in broad lines that are milestones in the way of research and writing, but are the key to his topics. To highlight the research in its elements and coordinated main lines will help to address the topic and study it in a calm way and organized thinking vision of this group of elements in front of the researcher gives him a complete view of the topic and allows complete mentally before the work of the draft and then he himself can criticize and examine it Walk on this path and enables the researcher to realize the citizen that needs focus and attention each element in the plan is a major topic in the research and it grows and the more he studies the deeper element in the plan must go in the direction of the result naturally and non-expensive logical end and conclusion nature that the result reached by the research is the logical end and the conclusion that paved the previous studies. The importance of the plan and the main elements should be taken care of at this stage and formulated
  • 4. in a sound expressive template that makes it possible to know what is meant by it and what we want to say about it when writing the research The researcher tries to avoid complex complexities and divisions that are difficult for the reader and send him confusion and so the more clear and simplified the divisions the reader assimilates the more comprehensive and can not claim that a single plan is sound , but it can be in many forms and models, but no matter how different and multiple it must contain: - The main project in the research or problem -Key ideas and other help -Documents and sources These things to develop a complete plan for the research and also explains the approach that will be followed by the researcher and the practical division of research topics in its doors and chapters successful plan in which anyone can reason and understand logically and follow through the ideas of the researcher and his inclinations
  • 5. What is the research plan: The researcher is required to produce a plan for his research usually and the request to prepare the plan by the supervisor usually or by the committee or the body responsible for accepting the research or reject or modify any plan The steps and preparation of the research and its completion are related to the approval and approval of the research plan The research plan is the broad lines that are guided by the researcher for the implementation of the research and this means that the research plan plans to research before its implementation for the purpose of identifying all its dimensions and aspects starting with his problem, importance and objectives and collect his data and information and that the research plan establishes and clarifies . The research plan is its structure and an integrated image of it each element in it completes an aspect of that image and each research a general plan that varies from one research to another depending on the topic or type of material or a specific duration of the research and other influences that relate to
  • 6. the different circumstances that surround each topic. Purposeof the research plan : From the topic of developing a research plan is of great importance to researchers and supervisors, the purposes of the research plan are summarized in the following: -View and provide a brief description of the research problem -Inventory and presentation of previous studies related to the research problem -Determine the goal or objectives of the research that should be what the researchers went in previous studies -Determine the procedures of the researcher and the steps that the researcher will follow in addressing the research problem -Diagnosis and inventory of the nature of data and information needed by the research and determine the means and methods of collection. -Organize and tabulate the research plan in the optimal way to address the research problem with a
  • 7. definition of the research methods that will be followed by the researcher. The researcher is the initial plan after he has formed a clear idea of some clarity about his subject and the final plan is a detail and branching of all the main and sub-problems the researcher may appear in the part of the feedback he receives or after consulting experienced in the field of his research or taking information from an institution or it provides him with scientific information if it is of reliable relevance to his research and thus helps him to develop a plan Good highlighting its elements in coordinated lines that facilitate the researcher to address the topic and study it organized and realize the research gaps and weaknesses. The researcher determines the subject of his research and preliminary readings about it, which is important and fundamental, especially for graduate students, where they require them to solve the interest leads to a look at what blocks on the topic of research and this is useful in investigating the various studies that have been done on the subject or on what surrounds the view
  • 8. Importance of research plan: -The researcher must determine the goal of his study with the required accuracy because the researcher without the efforts that precede the preparation of a good plan does not have an in- depth picture of the topic of research and its branches and limits is committed not in accordance with the specified period of time for the possibilities available to him. - Help the researcher to determine the easiest way to lead him to the specified goal easily - The plan helps the researcher to imagine the obstacles that may be encountered when carrying out the research regardless of the topic if the study is above its temporal or physical possibilities or may prepare for those obstacles before starting the implementation of the research and so must himself fall into a stalemate that makes him regret technically after the choice -The plan also ensures the researcher to save time, effort and money does not have to change his subject has walked steps or return frequent times to the sources of scientific material, especially if it
  • 9. requires expensive travel or requires passing difficulties caused by the loss of time and effort -The plan helps the researcher and the authorized committee in evaluating the research even before its implementation, in terms of its importance and estimating the size of the effort required by the research and the ability of the researcher and the clarity of his approach. - The plan provides the supervisor of the researcher a basis for the evaluation of the research project and also helps him to supervise it during the period of its implementation research. -The written plan provides the researcher a reference and a guide to him during the conduct of the research is easy to refer to when he forgets some elements in the event of an emergency, the presence of a written plan helps the researcher to evaluate the successful steps of the research . Research plan objective: - The research fills an important theoretical and practical need in the field of specialization - The student fully understands his research problem and has the knowledge and skills necessary to do the research and that he has
  • 10. identified his research clearly helps to start work in which the registration of the topic and then fit to be supervised by one of the professors specialized in the Department. Elements of the research plan: The scientific research plan and its presentation decide the fate of the research approved by the specialized scientific councils of universities to ensure the accuracy of its formulation and provisions of its elements in a way that highlights the importance of research on the one hand and the efficiency of the researcher on the other hand. It is recognized in the field of research that each research nature and this follows to have a plan that fits and fits, but no matter how different or varied their fields are supposed to include the following elements: - Search title : Is the beginning of the research, which is the first thing seen by the reader should be modern and appropriate to the topic and identical to the ideas after it is the one that in a brief phrase indicates the content of the study intended by it, the good title is
  • 11. the one that takes into account the following things to be clear about Systematic scientific study requires that the title carries a scientific character and calm sober away from the sensational propaganda phrases, which are more appropriate and the researcher excludes descriptive titles that do not suit the style of the modern era. Preferably in choosing to be visible of a holistic nature so that if the study called exposure to its branches and sections of what was considered this on the subject and as if the researcher discovered his capacity Narrows with the time specified for him, can act in short. Importance of research: This aspect can be highlighted through what comes, including highlighting some aspects or describing or explaining the validity of some theories and ideas or not, filling some gaps in the available information and revealing the mask of some wrong changes, correcting some approaches and solving some scientific problems and adding new scientific or expected developments.
  • 12. -Topic report : This is tantamount to identifying the idea of the basis in the research, and a report of what the researcher intended to do in a focused phrase highlights the characteristics of the problem that will be discussed that this paragraph in the plan is the real key to research and formulation of the topic of research on this image helps in two important things, including determining the study approach and direction and intensifying efforts and studies in the direction of the research topic and here it is necessary to find a balance between the abbreviation and give a full idea of the research. -Search tab : Take into account in the tab topics to be clear logical sections tab is not exaggerated in the partial divisions, istiktharamneh leads to confusion of the reader and the inability to link between them. -Research methodology: It means the art of the correct Organization of a series of many ideas in order to reveal the truth, here is exposed to how to present and put the issues of the subject and the means to be taken by the researcher to reach the results are required so that
  • 13. the research and its methods and means clearly defined and specifically indicate the type of scientific method used in it. -Previous studies: The researcher is supposed to see the previous studies of the subject of research, but to study it critically and examiner study selects the most important books and studies that have been completed in it to determine the acceptable ones , and rejected and shows the extent of their relevance to the subject and the importance of the details found in them It is through these critical looks that the Examiner chooses to identify whether the researcher reached further than the previous research or he failed to absorb those studies requires that the researcher provide a descriptive list of them and present the substantive content in an acronym The results of this research Step are to avoid repetition in research and find compelling reasons to study the chosen topic. - Identify the problem : It is clear that the title of the problem search a certain framework and limited phrases may not
  • 14. meet all that he wants to study and as the title may suggest topics not in the immortality addressed and act in the title increase or decrease may lose its impact and effectiveness required, and that this element in the plan is the right place In addition to the other to be excluded from what is not felt by the main title of the research, noting all this excess or lack and mentioning it under this element of the plan is necessary to determine the course of the topic from the beginning and so that it is not a gap taken by the discussants. - Schedule research phases : To ensure that the researcher to complete his research in the period specified for him and this requires him to put a time schedule for each stage of the implementation of a person who is useful in completing it in the required time, and it is useful to recall that there is no room in the plan for details and crowded with information so much, the position of this and after a real excitement of enthusiasm for the subject and love. It is known a priori in the field of research that he does not sign in the plan to be updated from the first attempt and as it is supposed to be final, it is
  • 15. often subject to change and amendment, if it is recognized that the horizons of the researcher in the subject of research increases as the introduction of some amendments that increase the value of research and multiply its importance. Some shortcomings of researchers in the planning stages of research and review of previous studies Here are some of the shortcomings of researchers in the planning stages of research and review of previous studies Research planning stage 1 -acceptance of the researcher to the problem of research that comes to his mind at first glance or suggest him from algirdon depth in its importance and agreement with its capabilities and future ambitions. 2 -Choosing a vague or wide-ranging research problem or complex in its requirements when implemented 3 -suggest loose or unnecessary questions - 4 propose vague or immeasurable hypotheses or completely ignored in research and sometimes many others.
  • 16. 5 -intentional or unintentional omission of an important factor or aspect of the research, such as omitting the review of previous studies and research sufficiently or not to determine the means and methods of collecting, analyzing and interpreting data. 6-his indulgence in the development of a well- thought-out plan for research, which loses him an organized tool directed to the responsibilities prescribed to get the desired solutions to his problem - 7 not showing the research scheme to a specialist in statistical analysis to know the design of the most appropriate experiment for the studied problem and thus distribute the coefficients and repetitions according to this design. 1-Review of previous studies -speed and acceleration of browsing the researcher for studies and previous research, which leads him to bypass some information important for his research or leads him to search a modern studied problem.
  • 17. - insufficient knowledge of the researcher on further research approach to the topic of the problem . -only the researcher to see the summaries of research without relying on the sources of these studies . - focus the researcher on the results of previous studies without methods and measurements and methods of processing the data, which may lose with him, the researcher some information or ideas directed to the tools, procedures and methods of research. -error and inaccuracy in writing the names of researchers who conducted these studies or the statement of years of preparation and this error falls within the concept of ethics of scientific research if the researcher should not convey any idea or result or information without reference to its reference to show its credibility. Signs of a good plan: -Be detailed on the problem to be studied so that if the title changes, there would be between the vocabulary of the plan and the new title, and this will be more clear in some elements such as the
  • 18. element of determining the problem and previous studies. -when reading a paragraph identifying a problem, the reader feels that the plan author has read enough about the subject of the study and realized its dimensions, and the definition takes the form of hypotheses. -the element of the previous studies does not express the amount read by the researcher, but how it approaches and leads to receive to the point where the researcher will start his study. -full clarity of the collection of scientific material so as not to leave much room for questions about the types of research sources and available and unavailable and their places of existence and the way to access them and the way to obtain them. -the standards of field studies should be closely related to the topic of research and move away from generality and coordinated with paragraphs identify a problem and provide the necessary answers to research questions. -clarity and accuracy of rules related to the analysis of scientific material.
  • 19. -the plan gives the reader a clear vision of what will be the research after implementation, not in terms of the content of the results , but in terms of the interdependence of the contents of previous studies and the method of their review and terms or contents of the questionnaire or criteria proposed to be used in the study - another person can implement the plan without the general results vary a lot. -accurate documentation of direct and indirect quotations in the whole plan, whether when reviewing previous studies or when designing the curriculum . Reasons for the failure of researchers to convince the members of the seminar with their research plans: -The researcher does not learn from the mistakes of others through the presence of Al-samnarat and listen to criticism and observations directed to researchers -The researcher unfortunately presents his research plan with a long structural introduction research and does not go directly to focus on the research problem, so the committee is forced to boycott the seminar calling him to enter into the topic directly.
  • 20. -The researcher presents his research problem in a way that is not done by a careful understanding of the components of the research circle and its logical sequence , the research circle starts with the problem and ends with the solution , and its center is to identify the researcher accurate to this problem, which leads directly to the understanding of the committee: -to explain to the committee the question that he wants to answer, or a situation that represents a difficulty for him or a disturbing situation that needs to be put an end to it and does not confuse his problem with the objectives of the research. - The Five Questions agreed upon by methodologists when determining a research problem should be (who, where, when, what, why -to formulate his research problem language formulation in which he avoids unnecessary words until the committee understands what exactly he wants - explain to the committee exactly how he chose his research problem: -His own experience and the experience of others or from the scientific literature that showed him
  • 21. that his research problem will not be addressed by these literature -The theories in which he saw shortcomings and chose them from the theories -So what did he choose to explain or Takeda -Statement of contradictions, methodological errors or consensus of opinions 5 - the researcher may have chosen the idea of Tarat in his head and make it his research problem, it appeared that did not make the effort required and sufficient to choose the problem that will search for it turns out that he did not see the field in the public domain that the research problem within its limits and is supposed to show - Issues that contain this problem and what its importance and the elements that represent the problem need to be solved - Background of the problem and the arguments that revolved around it and what is needed from them to an advanced search - Sub-sub-problems associated with the basic problem these problems are considered as means by which to identify an original goal in a good
  • 22. way that can contribute to the solution of a problem - The researcher did not prepare himself to answer ten questions at least may be asked by the committee, namely : - Did the researcher see the previous messages in the same field or refer to the relevant section to find out what he needs from research before choosing his topic - Was he able over the years to determine that there were more important research problems Are there ethical and ethical barriers to research Can I do a practical search ? - Does the researcher have enough time and full energy to complete the research and complete it on time Does the researcher have the knowledge, skills, experiences and experiences that enable him to conduct research Can the results of the research be of scientific, social or educational value ? - Can search results be applied in the real world
  • 23. You can extract from the research of a problem new problems that need other research. The research plan is the outline that guides the researcher when carrying out his study and it is important for the researcher to realize that all methodological errors in the research or scientific thesis are due to poor preparation of a plan. Believe interested in scientific research issues and methods that errors that researchers fall and lead to the rejection of their research plans are due to the following : Incorrect perceptions in the minds of researchers about the nature and importance of the research plan as follows - A plan is nothing more than a requirement for the researcher to start writing his scientific thesis . - The plan does not require as a protector of scientific knowledge and previous studies, but just a brief of them, so a few of them enable the researcher to prepare a plan - The preparation of a plan in a short time helps the researcher to finish his message in a short period of time
  • 24. The researcher's belief that a plan can be modified or changed after its approval. -Many of these errors are due to the fact that the researcher does not understand at all the importance of the stage before preparing a plan and the importance of preparing it under the supervision of a professor specialized in the field of his research problem. the reality of what happens is that the researcher is preparing a plan without consulting a professor- In one of the reports of errors of research plans: It is very important for a researcher to take some time to find a specialized and qualified professor at a University who shares his research interests. -That although many researchers continue to attend the seminar and participate in its discussions and take advantage of observations to the contrary than intended, for example, that one of the researchers has understood that the difference between what is modern and what this is that the researchers come out of the seminar hall as they entered it with any new ones.
  • 25. The most important mistakes that researchers make when preparing their research plans: -The researcher hasten to determine the day of the presentation on the seminar before he is ready for it -The researcher does not deliver the professors copies of the plan before the presentation or to submit it late does not allow to see them and study them adequately. -Lack of interest of the researcher in the use of illustrative ways to facilitate the presentation and facilitate the listeners who have not received a copy of the follow-up plan and understanding. -He has not trained himself to present his research plan to prepare a place as if he were going to discuss his message. - Do not accuse the researcher in the form of paper introduction and consider it just papers of the simplest rules of writing scientific correct, especially in terms of form, such as in the size of the plan and numbering pages. -Not focusing on one goal in each chapter of your research -Irregular backup of your search files
  • 26. -Neglect and failure to keep everything you read from previous research and files related to your research material -The search results are not related to the objectives of the search and does not answer his questions -Lack of clarity of your research idea or objectives -Frequent subheadings in your search message -There is no problem to search for solutions or the problem is general and unspecified -The research topic is general and does not focus on a specific topic - Professors ' guidance to graduate students for research plan : - The title of the plan must contain an independent variable and continue to study - Must be a short title - Prefer to stay away from the word descriptive study or experimental or the word experimental research. -Must not write in the title of the word descriptive study or field because it exists plan
  • 27. -When choosing a spatial field of study must take into account the good of the researcher, dictated by a supervising authority place that is being studied for its own considerations and not scientific considerations. -Should not write in the title of the message area of spatial or temporal or type of study and only mentions it within the study for the possibility of the researcher can not conduct the study in terms of not standing on conducting it or closing place Conclusion: The researcher is keen to schedule the stages of research during the preparation of a plan to be keen to complete his research in a specific period for him and this requires him to set a time limit for each stage of a person is committed to the implementation of what is useful in completing it in the required time.finally, it is useful to recall that there is no room in the plan for details and filling it with much information.
