- 5. • A FIVE pound Chihuahua from Colorado, named Zoey made headlines in 2007 for rescuing a one year old child from approaching a three foot rattlesnake • Zoey received a small wound from the snakebite above her eye, but eventually recovered from it
- 6. • In 2008, a pit-bull named Maya, saved her owner from a vicious male attacker • Maya received the dog of the year award • “The pit-bull breed can be hero dogs just like any other bread”
- 7. • In 2007, a German Shepherd named Moti, took a bullet for his “human family” • When an intruder made his way into this household, Mati immediately leaped to his feet and started barking to scare the gunman • The gunman shot him and then ran off without harming the family • Luckily, Moti made a full recovery!
- 8. • TALK ABOUT A HERO… • Together with police officers, Trakr helped dig through some 20 feet of unstable debris at the World Trade Center “ground zero” site and locate the last human survivor of the attack • This dogs bravery was celebrated, and he is even going to be cloned for use on other police rescue forces!
