Published 16 December 2008. The National Organic Coalition (NOC) is a national alliance of organizations working to provide a "Washington voice" for farmers, ranchers, environmentalists, consumers and progressive industry members involved in organic agriculture. The NOC asked for the Obama Administration’s full support for the following measures to facilitate the growth of the U.S. organic food and farming sector, and to resolve the logjams created by USDA bureaucratic impediments and missed opportunities to allow organic agriculture to meet its full potential.
