Mazda Carol

The Mazda Carol is a name used by Mazda for its kei cars from 1962 until 1970. It was
revived again with Mazda's 1989 reentry into the Kei car class.

Mazda AZ-Wagon

The Mazda AZ-Wagon was a tiny station wagon based on the Suzuki Wagon R. The AZ is a
reference to Mazda's Autozam minicar marque. There are in total four generations up to
2008. The first generation of AZ-Wagon was introduced in Japan in 1994 as the Autozam
Wagon.

Mazda AZ-Offroad

The Mazda AZ-Offroad is a mini SUV, a rebadged Suzuki Jimny. The AZ in the name refers
to Autozam, Mazda's ill-fated small car marque. The AZ-Offroad was introduced in October,
1998 as a 1999 model. The engine is a turbocharged 660 cc DOHC Suzuki K6A. All wheel
drive is standard and an automatic transmission is optional. The AZ continues to be sold in
Japan.

Mazda Spiano

The Suzuki Alto Lapin is a retro-styled Kei car with a 5-door hatchback body, manufactured
since 2002 by Suzuki for the Japanese market only, and also marketed in Japan only by
Mazda as Mazda Spiano under an OEM agreement under their Autozam marque. It is based
on Suzuki's popular Alto kei car.

Autozam Scrum

The Autozam Scrum is a kei class microvan and pickup truck sold in Japan by Mazda.
Originally part of the company's Autozam marque it was first introduced in June 1989
(DG41, DH41 for 4WD versions). Mazda still sells the Scrum under its own name. The Scrum
is a re-badged version of the Suzuki Carry and used Suzuki engines. The first model year
had 550 cc Suzuki F5B engines (34 PS/25 kW or 52 PS/38 kW with an intercooled turbo) but
after only nine months this was replaced by the larger engined DG/DH51 (660 cc, 38 PS/28
kW or 58 PS/43 kW) as the kei car standards were changed that year.

Mazda Revue

The Autozam Revue was a subcompact car from Mazda's Autozam marque, introduced in
October 1990 in Japan. The demise of that marque led to the car's being renamed the
Mazda Revue from 1994 until 1998. The car was also sold in Europe, Australia, Colombia,
Bolivia, Chile and some other export markets as the Mazda 121, where it replaced the
previous 121 based on the first-generation Ford Festiva.

Mazda Verisa

The Mazda Verisa is a subcompact car based on the jointly-engineered Mazda DE platform.
It was launched by the Japanese automaker in 2004 and is only available in Japan. The
Verisa can be considered either a 'tall hatchback' or a 'low mini MPV'. The relationship
between the Mazda Verisa and the more popular Mazda Demio is similar to that of the Ford
Fusion (Europe) and the Ford Fiesta. Its height of 1,530 mm (60.2 in) is similar to other
Japanese boxy subcompact cars and lower than European mini MPVs like the Fiat Idea and

Autozam AZ-1

The Autozam AZ-1, known as the framecode PG6SA, is a mid-engined two-seat sports
coupé kei car, designed and manufactured by Suzuki but sold by Mazda under its Autozam
brand. It debuted in October 1992 until production ceased in 1994, and was perhaps most
noted for its gullwing doors. Power came from the same Suzuki-sourced 657 cc
turbocharged engine used by the Mazda Carol that produced 64 PS (47 kW) at 6500 rpm
and 85 N·m (63 ft·lbf) at 4000 rpm. Suzuki produced its own badge engineered version
named the Suzuki Cara (PG6SS). The car is also popular as a grey import in some markets,
and has been converted to left-hand drive for the Canadian and other left hand drive
markets.

The Mazda MX-3 was a four-seat hatchback produced from September 1991 to 1998. It was
based on the EC platform. The MX-3 was marketed as the Mazda MX-3 Precidia in Canada,

Mazda RX-7

The Mazda RX-7 is a sports car by the Japanese automaker Mazda. It was produced from
1978 to 2002. The original RX-7 featured a 1146 cc twin-rotor Wankel rotary engine and a
sporty front-midship, rear-wheel drive layout. The RX-7 was a direct replacement for the
RX-3 (both were sold in Japan as the Savanna) and subsequently replaced all other Mazda
rotary cars with the exception of the Cosmo.

Mazda RX-8

The Mazda RX-8 is a sports car manufactured by Mazda Motor Corporation. It first appeared
in 2001 at the North American International Auto Show. It is the successor to the RX-7 and,
like its predecessors in the RX range, it is powered by a Wankel engine. The RX-8 began
North American sales in the 2004 model year. Mazda announced on August 23, 2011, that
RX-8 will be discontinued from production citing the 2011 model as the last line of
production. The RX-8 from the European market was removed last year after the car failed
to meet local emissions standards. Without volume from Europe & rising Yen prices, Mazda
couldn't continue to justify the continued sale of the RX-8 in its other markets including
North America.

Mazda Cosmo

There have been four generations of Mazda automobiles which went by the name of Cosmo,
although they are not all particularly related. All were Grand tourers, with the first proving
a successful launch for the Mazda Wankel engine and acting as a "halo" vehicle for the new
Mazda brand. Later Cosmos competed in the ultra-high luxury performance market in Japan
with the final JC Cosmo (1990–1995) sold as the Eunos Cosmo - Eunos was a luxury sales

Mazda Navajo

The Mazda Navajo was a 2-door SUV introduced in 1991, and Mazda's very first off-roader.
Also, the Navajo was Mazda's only truck-based SUV (though some colloquially called the
later Mazda Tribute "trucks"). Available only as a four-wheel drive, two-door vehicle, the
Navajo was essentially a rebadged Ford Explorer Sport. It was marketed in the United
States only, as Mazda Canada did not want to market an SUV. All Navajos were built in
Louisville, Kentucky, where the Explorer was built.

Mazda Tribute

The Mazda Tribute (Code J14) is a compact CUV made by Japanese automaker Mazda since
2001. It is jointly developed with Ford Motor Company and based on the front-wheel drive
Mazda 626 platform, which is in turn the basis for the similar Ford Escape on the CD2
platform. The Tribute is priced below the Ford Escape and Mercury Mariner in Ford's CD2
SUV lineup.

Mazda B-series

The Mazda B-Series is a pickup truck, first manufactured in 1961 by Mazda Motor
Corporation. From the first B-Series, Mazda has used the engine displacement to determine
the name. Thus, the B1500 had a 1.5 L engine and the B2600 had a 2.6 L engine. In Japan,
Mazda used the Proceed name on its compact pickup trucks, and another line of larger
trucks is available called the Mazda Titan. Other names used for this line include Mazda
Bravo (Australia), Mazda Bounty (New Zealand), Mazda Magnum / Thunder / Fighter
(Thailand), and Mazda Drifter (South Africa).

Mazda BT-50

The Mazda BT-50 (model code J97M) is a 1-ton pickup truck from Mazda. It is a larger
version of the predecessor B-Series pickup and is not sold in the Japanese and North
American market. Ford has also sold a version of the first generation BT-50 as the Ford
Ranger. The second generation Ranger has been designed by Ford Australia, with a Mazda
derivative to be sold as the BT-50.
