Advanced Diploma program in Construction
Management is a 1 year Part Time program
specially designed to enable graduates
engineers, architects and other related
professionals with an interest in pursuing a
career as a construction/project manager to
expand their skills and knowledge needed by the
industry.
The main objective of the program is to develop
competent construction mangers who will have
the skills to effectively manage projects in the
construction Industry.
Diploma in Construction Management provide more
detail and in depth knowledge on the construction
management skills which lead them to be professional
competency in construction industry. This program
introduces and develops the key skills for learners on
the Planning, Coordination, Monitoring and
Controlling in building construction. These skills will
enable learners to be dynamic, respond and adapt to
the changing requirements in the construction
industry. The Program will give attention to many real
case studies pertaining to the construction
management especially in the Procurement, Planning,
financial management, Human resource, Scheduling
and PMP.
The learners will study and analyze leadership style,
organizational structure and human management. This
course will equip learners with necessary qualities as
Construction Manager, Senior Project Coordinator and
Site Manager to monitor the project progress and
complete the project with predetermined objectives
(times, cost and quality).
