I have not stopped thanking God for you. I
pray for you constantly, asking God, the

hope he has given to those he called-his holy

he is far above any ruler or authority or power
or leader or anything else-not only in this
world but also in the world to come.

When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and
pray to the Father, the Creator of everything in
heaven and on earth. I pray that from his
glorious, unlimited resources he will empower
you with inner strength through his Spirit.
Then Christ will make his home in your hearts
as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down
into God's love and keep you strong. And may
you have the power to understand, as all
God's people should, how wide, how long,
how high, and how deep his love is. May you
experience the love of Christ, though it is too
great to understand fully. Then you will be
made complete with all the fullness of life and

So we have not stopped praying for you since
we first heard about you. We ask God to give
you complete knowledge of his will and to give
you spiritual wisdom and understanding. Then
the way you live will always honor and please
the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind

learn to know God better and better. We also
pray that you will be strengthened with all his
glorious power so you will have all the
endurance and patience you need. May you be
filled with joy, always thanking the Father. He
has enabled you to share in the inheritance that

Lord Jesus Christ, His supremacy and
centrality.
