3. Issuing to a Patient
• During the Issue process simply connect both the
SleepImage recorder and the Oximeter to the
computer
• Make sure you check the correct button on the
schedule screen

4. Issuing cont.
• During the Issue process the window will tell you
that both an Oximeter and SleepImage recorder
are being issued to the patient.

5. Upload
• Connect both recorders and select Upload.
• A screen will give you a summary of the tests

• Choose type of report: Short, Comprehensive, or Multi-Night
• Select Oximetry from the Additional Display drop down

12. Express Issue
1. Go to Patient Page
2. Connect the Sleep Recorder and/or Oximeter to the PC
3. Highlight the patient
4. Select Issue

13. Synch Button
• The clock of the recorder automatically synchs with the computer
when the recorders are issued
• If the batteries are removed the actual date/time may be lost
• To synchronize the recorder connect the recorder, go to the
Recorder page, and select Sync

14. Automated Interpretation Text
• While viewing patient study, select the Interpretation icon on the top
left of the screen

• Select the Automated Text checkbox, and a summary of the
results will automatically populate. Select Save Interpretation
• Add or edit additional comments as required

Press the button before giving recorder to patient

Batteries last about 90 hours but check the battery light

Application Instructions to patient:
 clean/dry application area
 loose EKG cable (exact placement not required),
 sleep with garment over recorder
 green light will be very dim, not to disrupt sleep but
recorder will automatically start recording
 remove and discard electrode after use

• Unable to click on or view the Upload or Issue button
 Ensure SleepImage Manager is installed
 Automatic Adobe Updates can cause this. See Support
Page for instructions also depends on the browser
• No Data message when uploading
 Connect the sleep recorder to the PC
 Open folder on your computer called M1-CXXXXXX (will
be recognized as a thumb drive on PC)
 Open the Identity.DAT folder with Notepad
 Look for DataFileUsed line – if this number = 0, there is
no data on the recorder (due to mis-application or
batteries). If the number is >0 you have data
