10 new attractions Dubai is set to offer
1 Dubai Opera House (Downtown Dubai)
The centrepiece of the Opera District in Downtown Dubai, the 2,000-seat, multi-format theatre
will be the go-to place for opera, theatre, concerts, ballet, art exhibitions, orchestra, film, sports
events and seasonal programmes.
2 Dubai Frame (Near the Star Gate of Zabeel Park)
An iconic landmark in Zabeel Park, Dubai Frame will consists of two 150-metre towers 93
metres wide, connected with a 100 square metre bridge. Set against the picturesque Dubai
skyline, it gives visitors the perfect vantage point. It will house a cafe on top as well.
3 Dubai Water Canal (Business Bay into the Persian Gulf through Safa Park and Jumeirah)
2. A 3km canal starting from Business Bay and reaching the Arabian Gulf through Safa Park and
Jumeirah, this project will create 80,000 square metres of new facilities with private marinas for
boats and a trade centre. It will also host a shopping centre, four hotels, 450 restaurants,
walkways and cycle paths.
4 Dubai Eye (Jumeirah Beach Residence)
Set to be the world’s tallest Ferris wheel, this will be the centrepiece of Meeras Holdings’
Bluewaters Island off the shores of Jumeirah Beach Residence. The 210 metre wheel will
provide stunning views of Dubai landmarks and its base will serve as another beachfront
entertainment hub.
5 IMG Worlds of Adventure (City of Arabia- Dubailand)
3. The world’s largest indoor theme park at 1.5 million square feet, this entertainment destination
will have four epic adventure zones. Cartoon Network, MARVEL, Lost Valley - Dinosaur
Adventure and IMG Boulevard will have a capacity of more than 20,000 guests a day.
6 Bollywood Park (Jebel Ali)
Part of the hyped Dubai Parks and Resorts project off Palm Jebel Ali, Bollywood Park will
feature an 850-seat Rajmahal Theatre spanning 60,000 square feet besides 30 live shows on
five stages. It will also host a Rock On restaurant in addition to six other themed restaurants.
7 Legoland (Jebel Ali)
4. Also part of the Dubai Parks and Resorts project, this entails a water park specially designed for
kids aged two to 12. Families can expect to take part in LEGO-themed adventures through
interactive rides, water slides, models and building experiences.
8 Dubai Safari (Al Warqa - Dubai Creek)
The long-awaited zoo park in Al Warqa will replace the existing zoo in Jumeirah on a 119
hectare plot. A world standard for wildlife habitat, it will have dedicated areas where visitors
can get up close to the park’s animals in airconditioned jeeps and also visit a dark cave to see
nocturnal animals by using 3D techniques.
9 Palm Jumeirah Boardwalk (Palm Jumeirah)
An 11km stretch, the much-awaited boardwalk will not only be a place for exercise freaks but
also for those who want to hang out in cafes and restaurants overlooking the Arabian Gulf.
5. 10 City Walk Phase 2 (Al Safa Street)
While Phase 1 of the Meeras Holdings’ retail space is already up and running, the mixed use
phase two will add 10,000 square metres of retail area, in addition to residential units. Centrally
located, the new complex will add to the bustling shopping and eat out arcades on Al Wasl
Road.
