Since founding the company in 1992, Peter
Killcommons continues to provide the latest in
secure telemedicine and web-enabled solutions. We
spoke with Peter Killcommons to understand the full
scope of his business and his continued efforts
helping impoverished communities abroad.

Q. What kind of products does Medweb offer?
A. We offer a wide range of services, including radiology
information systems and picture archiving and communication
systems (RIS/PACS), cloud solutions, telemedicine, orthopedic
solutions, clinic screenings, and RADshare options, among
others. Working to acquire electronic data with enhanced abilities
in communication, transmission, and viewing, we provide cutting-
edge storage techniques that cater to various medical
specialties. These specialties include dentistry, orthopedics,
stroke evaluation, dermatology, and general exams. We also
help clients with workflow management, integrating with pre-
existing RIS and HIS systems. Our technology meets United
States HIPAA compliance standards and can be operated on a
laptop computer from anywhere in the world.

Q. What kind of experience do you have with
traveling abroad for medical aid purposes?
A. In past years, I have traveled to such
countries as Haiti, Kabul, Peru, and
Honduras, to name a few. In these locations,
I provided a number of medical and volunteer
services. I have served as a team member
for international medical aid in Afghanistan
and as a volunteer pilot for various rescue
efforts.

Q. How do you feel these trips have affected
you on the professional level?
A. My travels have certainly affected my
professional outlook, as I have seen what a
positive affect that aid can have on
impoverished or devastated regions. My work
abroad has only fueled my passion for my
profession as a whole.
