KRA #1 – PERSONAL INTEGRATION: Attend to the four dimensions of “Pastores Dabo Vobis”
that specifically apply to me (not others or the parish) so that I:
Remain healthy as a person,
Grow in my sanctification,
Am effective in my ministry
SMART Goals:
Human Dimension:
1. Weekly - exercise 3 times
2. Weekly - take overnight day-off
3. Yearly - take allotted vacation days
4. Yearly - schedule and visit health agents (doctor, dentist, chiropractor, cardiologist,

Align activities with Parish Vision and Mission (Preach and Teach),
Ensure spiritual growth of parishioners (Sanctify),
Properly steward the allocation parish resources (Govern),
Ensure the healthy governance of the parish.

Ensure completion of Parish Pastoral Council Charter by end of September 2015 (Bernie

Ensure completion of Parish Pastoral Finance Charter by end of September 2015 (Bernie

KRA #4 - GROWTH OF PARISH – Actively focus and engage in one initiative to personally
support the goal of “Parish Outreach” to the 3,200 non-active or semi-active parishioners of
St. Monica Parish (Ultimate Goal: grow parish attendance by 10%. Timing: 2015 archdiocesan
“Pastoral Report”)

Daily intentional prayer for discernment of outreach initiative until end of January
Involve prayer team for discernment prayer by end of September

KRA #5 - CAPITAL CAMPAIGN / PARISH MASTER PLAN – Complete my portion of St. Monica
Capital Campaign to ensure the acquisition of necessary resources for parish safety, comfort,
growth and vibrancy.

Weekly – Call/meeting with Cunneen and Campaign Assistants
Complete vetting of potential “ask” amounts by September 7
Vet my participation level with parish staff during September 7 call-in meeting
Complete vetting of Capital Campaign materials by September 30 (N.B. – KRA
development activity level is significant in October)
Acquire approval of archdiocese for Capital Campaign by September 30
Complete writing and delivery of Capital Campaign message for
“In-Pew Weekend” by September 30
Visit 5 parishioners/families to perform “formal” ask by end of October
Formally complete Capital Campaign planning process by Thanksgiving
Celebration of close of Capital Campaign before end of the year.
4. KRA #6 - PARISH / PASTORAL OUTREACH – Ensure the founding of a "formal" St. Monica
"Parish" Outreach Ministry ("New Evangelization") and "Pastoral" Outreach Ministry (to poor
and/or needy) to fulfill our mission, enrich our local community and impact the world. TBD
