The Rotary Club of St. Maarten continues to provide information about Alzheimer’s. As part of the
awareness campaign the club is raising funds to assist the St. Maarten Alzheimer’s Foundation. The bank
of Nova Scotia is the first corporate sponsor to purchase 75 T-shirts thus making a contribution of USD
750,--.
Memory loss that disrupts daily life is not a typical part of aging. It
may be a symptom of Alzheimer's, a fatal brain disease that causes
a slow decline in memory, thinking and reasoning skills. Every
individual may experience one or more of these signs in different
