Cancelled cheque
Description
ā¢ Scanned copy of blank cancelled cheque on company name will only be taken to verify bank details
ā¢ In case of sole proprietor the cancelled cheque with company stamp can be considered
ā¢ In case of absence of cancelled cheque, the declaration letter from bank with bank details mentioned on bank letter
head with signature and stamp of authorized signatory can be considered
ā¢ Bank statement will not be considered for as valid document
ā¢ No hand writing, over writing or correction on cheque should be there

PAN card
ā¢ PAN card stands for Permanent Account Number, itās mandatory for financial transactions
ā¢ PAN card should be on company name. However in case of sole proprietor it can be on seller name
ā¢ Scanned copy of PAN card is mandatory for verification
ā¢ Photocopy/online snapshot of PAN card will not be considered

ā¢ In case of sole proprietor, the company address proof can be on seller name
ā¢ Electricity bill/Telephone bill/invoice should not be more than 3 months old
ā¢ Provisional certificate of VAT/TIN for address verification will not be considered

ā¢ Warehouse address proof is a document which is required to verify your warehouse address details
ā¢ In case warehouse is in different state, VAT/TIN & CST document of the new warehouse state should be provided
ā¢ However in case of exempted categories, seller can provide Electricity/Telephone bill, rent invoice, lease agreement
ā¢ Electricity bill/Telephone bill/rent invoice should not be more than 3 months old
ā¢ Provisional certificate of VAT/TIN for address verification will not be considered

ā¢ VAT stands for Value Added Tax needed from every seller for registration to sell his products online
ā¢ For categories such as Unstitched apparels, Sarees, Handicrafts, Books VAT/TIN certificate is not required
ā¢ Upto 30 days old provisional certificate for VAT/TIN proof can be considered
ā¢ Scanned copy of The VAT/TIN certificate will be considered.
ā¢ Online snapshot of VAT/TIN will not be considered

10. What are the documents you need for signup
process?
Description
ā¢ Service tax certificate is mandatory for all digital categories except utilities, payments, education, trust societies and
deals
ā¢ VAT certificate is required if you are dealing in Retail services
ā¢ Service tax certificate should be on company name
ā¢ In case of entertainment category, entertainment challan is acceptable
ā¢ E-document/certificate scanned copy will be considered
ā¢ For Jammu and Kashmir state Service provider sellers, from the affiliation of Government of India service tax
document is not required, you can sell your services online on Paytm Mall
