4. Overview
What
XRC Labs is an
”Innovation Accelerator”
investing to drive rapid
innovation in the retail
and consumer goods
Industries, leveraging
emerging technologies
regardless of startup size.
Why
XRC Labs focuses its
investments on
challenges and
opportunities specific to
retail and consumer
goods companies,
insuring that these
important industries and
their related ecosystems
stay current with, and
benefit from, innovation
with emerging
technologies.
How
Similar to other
accelerator models,
XRC will invest in

companies to help them
accelerate the
development of their

will select the themes and
participants, and
operationalize the
innovation experience.
Who
XRC Labs will play four
main roles:
1. Entrepreneurs will
receive capital
investment and
resources in exchange
for equity
2. Founding Sponsors will
invest capital and other
resources in exchange
for equity
3. Equity Partners will
invest capital in
exchange for equity
4. Member Sponsors will
invest capital and other
resources to
operationalize XRC in
exchange for access
and participation
When
XRC Labs plans to
conduct two ten week
sessions annually.
The initial session
is scheduled to launch
October 13, 2015.
