This document discusses eLearning at HAAGA-HELIA University of Applied Sciences. It defines eLearning as study entities offered via information technology that can include supervision, guidance, or exams. HAAGA-HELIA's eLearning policy from 2008-2013 aimed to provide a flexible way to study for university degrees and teacher education through internet-based learning. The university utilizes various eLearning environments like Moodle and develops common eLearning courses. It provides resources and training to support teachers and ensures quality through its assurance system. HAAGA-HELIA also participates in the Finnish Online University of Applied Sciences network.

5. Organisation of eLearning acvities at HAAGA-HELIA
eLearning quidance group makes the main decisions concerning
eLearning
Meetings 4 times/academic year
Participation from all campuses (1-3 person/campus, representation of
different training programmes) plus library and study services
The Vice President is the Chairperson , eLearning co-ordinator prepares
issues to the meetings with the chairperson and makes the memos of
the meeting
eLearning co-ordinator co-ordinates the implementation of the
decisions (with different co-workers/implementation groups
depending on the issue)
eLearning quidance group make the follow-up of the activities

Within the network it is agreed that 50-150 euros is charged from the
university per person per 1 ECTS, HAAGA-HELIA charges 75
euros/student outside/1 ECTS course
