This document discusses using augmented reality (AR) in vocational education and training (VET). It describes AR as layering digital information over the real world. Several AR platforms and applications for VET are presented, including using AR for beautician training, virtual tours, and communicating with communities. Case studies of AR pilots in Queensland VET describe solutions in wide bay and southern Queensland. The document also discusses augmented eyewear companies like Augmate and their solutions for challenges in industries like retail, logistics, and more.
