This document summarizes the archiving of George Claridge Druce's birthday book. It provides background on Druce, a botanist who published several county floras and described over 500 plant taxa. The project digitized the birthday book to make its contents accessible while limiting physical handling of the fragile item. Over 750 items, 900 images, and 700 individuals mentioned were digitized and recorded in an access database. Further research using the digitized contents will allow greater study of Druce and his botanical contributions.
