Richard III WebQuest
Introduction: This WebQuest is about the play Richard III. By reading the play and analyzing it,
students will gain knowledge of what the play is about and its major themes and characters.
Task: For this project, students will be writing a poem about one of the major characters in the
play. Working alone, students will construct a poem that may or may not rhyme to aptly describe
one character and their part in the play. Students will pick a poem form to construct one about a
character in the play.

Evaluation: for this task, students will be evaluated on how well they describe the character of
their choice and how well they executed a form of poetry.
Conclusion: the final product should be a poem that describes the character they chose, either
physically or personality wise.
