This document contains information about two national parks: Kinabalu National Park in Malaysia and Daisetsuzan National Park in Japan. Kinabalu National Park was established in 1964 to preserve the area's biodiversity and features Mount Kinabalu. It contains diverse flora and fauna and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Daisetsuzan National Park in Hokkaido, Japan contains three active volcanoes, hot springs, forests and alpine plants. Activities in both parks include hiking, climbing and observing the natural scenery.
