The Information Kiosk is a special hardware, used to display on it s
touchscreen, high quality multimedia content, even together with
sound. The user can easily navigate through the menus and contents
using the touchscreen or an attached keyboard. The content always
depends on the application: retail shop offers, bank services, restaurant
menu or the programme in a cinema. The kiosk can be used also to
make transactions, forward orders or to reserve and register.
The outdoor kiosks has the same purpose and functionality as the
indoor kiosks, being equipped with special components and a
weatherproof housing. An equipment placed outside, should follow the
changes of weather, so the terminals needs to be prepared to work and
the display to be visible in rain and strong sunshine, day and night, on
hot and freezing days too.

format (flash, avi, mpg, jpg …) even in HD resolution together with sound.

Interactive window display
The interactive window display is a solution, which placed in a shop-window,

enables anybody passing, by touching it s surface, to navigate in the
displayed content. The operation is based on two thin layers of foil (projection
and touch), applied on the window display and a projector as a source of the
displayed content. In some cases the projector and the projection foil can be
replaced with an LCD screen. The Interactive Window Display is a similar solution
to the Digital Poster but offers a much wider application.
In this case the potential customers will be not only viewers of the marketing
and information content but they will be able to navigate in a menu and select
the content which stay closest to their interest.
