To become a producer you have to study how a producer works in a
studio. Motivation and inspiration is the key to become a great
producer in the music world.

3. WHERE TO START
 For beginners, there are software's such as Fruity Loops that will
teach you how to make music. Fruity Loops is a software to create
music by clicking sounds and composing a pattern of live instruments
and sounds that matches up to sound creative. Once you get a hang
of that, your confidence level will boost up.

4. MIXING SOUNDS
Mixing your sounds are one of the key points to producing a track.
To mix your sounds you will need to be familiar with the mixing
process. Mixing is another element a producer will have.

5. SOFTWARE’S FOR MIXING
 You can mix sounds and mix a completed track with Fruity
Loops, but I would not recommend this. Software’s such as Pro
Tools, Reaper, Cubase, Reason and Adobe Audition are software’s a
producer may need to mix anything. Some of the software’s require
an interface.

6. STYLE
 When becoming a producer, you will find your sound and style.
You will find yourself making music the way you want to and that
usually leads to a signature sound.

7. MAKE A NAME FOR
YOURSELF
To make a name for yourself can be easy and it can also be difficult.
First, your material needs to be hot. People need to love what your
sound is all about. You need to present your product to the world as
an aggressive producer with a fresh sound.

8. HOW TO MAKE AN IMPACT
 There are free media web-sites you can reach to the world. Record
companies are all about fans. If people around your area love what
you’re doing, then the chances are people outside will love it as well.
Websites such as YouTube and Facebook are great tools for free
promotion and to get your material heard. View counts and fans are
the two things the big record companies are looking for.

10. ABOUT ME
 My name is Nelson Machado. Born and raised in San Francisco in the mission district then
later moved to San Bruno. Proud father of a 3 year old boy. I have grown up to become a
musician, music producer, photographer, graphic designer and a father. My passion is music. My
inspiration to become successful has been my mother and now is my son. Even with the road
blocks that lead to hard times and hit bottom, I was able to get back up and keep going on the
right road with a bright future.
 The reason why I am here is because I want to become a graphic designer and build great
