                         The Story :

                         1) I was finding products to promote in the self improvement
Increase the product’s

which generated $500,000 at that time mainly with affiliates.
                         3) Took time to understand numbers behind his sales funnel and
                         business model.
                         4) Sam’s product was converting at 37% on its landing page
and 9% on its sales page (Priced at $7 that time), 45% took the
upsell (Priced at $19.95) and another 5% further bought the 2nd
                         upsell (Priced at $197).
                         5) Long story short, we have had a long discussion and these
are the suggestion that I’ve made to him. (Refer to EmailContent)

                         Results :

                         1. It turn out to be a discussion instead.
                         2. I have no idea if Sam implemented my advice but his front
end product is now priced at $47 and thus increased its dollar
                         value per conversion.

                          6) The direction for these tools changed because it is too time

                            1) I was assigned as project manager during my 6 months
                            internship program at the company.
1. Use Time, Money and 2) 3 new tasks were at the 1st month of my internship and an

4. Internship program project management period.
result = A- 2. One of them requires a programmer to work remotely at a
Japanese factory based in Shah Alam, modifying their existing
application to keep up with the factory’s demand.
                            3. Another requires a programmer to create a brand new
application that interfaces with current SMS services in the
                            market.
                            4. On the other hand, I was managing Bubu Resort’s case while
monitoring the progress of these 2 tasks.

                            Strategies:

                            1) Sent in an email to the director of my internship company
WAY BEFORE the internship program was started to highlight my
                            strength and my weaknesses.
                            2) A coding task was given to me at the start of my internship
program and I proposed otherwise. (Bubu Resort was handed
down to me specifically because I have the digital marketing skills
that company currently does not possess)
                            3) Managed the projects base on this principle. (Time Knob,
                            Money Knob and People Knob)
                            4) When time is an issue, turn on money or people know to
fasten the pace of project completion. When Money is an issue,
turn on either time knob or people knob to complete the project
in time. When people knob is an issue, turn on the time knob and
money knob to ensure project is completed smoothly.
                            5) Posses my own resources outside the resources given by
the company. (Designers, coders, software/tools, and knowledge)
                            6) Focus on productivity and efficiency rather than working

tested the design and its conversion.

                               7) Analyzed analytics to further identify the numbers behind

                               Approaches/Strategies:

                               1) Bubu Resort was experiencing high phone call reservation as
a result of putting their phone number on their site and they
would love to decrease cost by encouraging users to make
                               reservations online.
                               2) Bubu Resort does not have any means of tracking the
activities of their users on their site and Google Analytics was
installed to understand their users’ behavior.
                               3) A thorough competitive intelligence was made to assist
                               them in their SEO effort.
                               4) Tools and resources were recommended to give them a
                               competitive edge over their competitors.
                               5) I hired a local web designer and programmer to develop a
minimum viable design to decrease testing cost at the initial
                               phase.
6) Further analyze their analytics and found out that their
shopping cart wasn’t performing well.
7) Suggestions were made on how to improve their shopping
cart as there are a lot of dysfunctional areas within the shopping
cart.
8) Client accepted the suggestion and shopping cart were
being revamped. (Cost them RM100K as a result of bad contract
relationship with their programmer)

Results:

1. Client was able to quantify their web visitors in numbers.
2. 5 minutes (Time take to indentify the real problem why
visitors do not make their reservation online)
3. It took me only 2 hours to find out the competitive
landscape in its market.

Note:

Client refuse to implement our suggestions for improvements
such as designs, CTA and etc. Thus, no changes have been made
for them until now.
