2. Synopsis
• The plot of our film will be based on an assassinator
targeting an individual using different sources of
information gathered. A hidden man will be targeting
an individual but without being seen or heard, they will
be giving little messages of their presence and will be
trying to get through to their target through the targets
friends and family.
• The target of the film will not know anything about the
assassin or what they are like and if there is one or
more of them and how they know all the information
on their life.

• Lighting and colour:
• Low key lighting – creates tension and a mysterious
atmosphere
• Costumes – dark clothing, gloves
• Settings and props – Room, pictures, newspaper,
desk, lamp, string, weapon
• Camera Work – Close ups, extreme close ups to
build suspense.

• We have chosen Batman as the opening titles
were different than other ones we have seen but
it also stops us from creating an opening title that
looks similar to a trailer or a shot film.
• We have chosen Law Abiding Citizen because the
plot is similar to ours. Also both films have similar
target audiences as seen on the slide before.

This shows the target audience of both films, as you can see they have similar target
audiences. The most popular gender was male on both tables and the most popular age
category for The Dark Knight Rises was 15-24 with a percentage of 36%. The most popular
age category for Law Abiding Citizen was 25-34 with a percentage of 34%.
