E-Reader Borrower’s Agreement
Our E-Reader Lending Program is an opportunity for you to borrow an E-Reader and experience what
it's like to read on the device. Ask questions and enjoy!
I agree:
 To return the device directly to a library staff member who will check in the device in my
presence, which may take a few minutes. I will NOT return to a drop box.
 To not tamper with the electronic device, accessories, and digital books, alter software and
settings, or attach any equipment not included in the kit.
 To accept full financial liability for the Electronic Device and accessories, while in my possession
and pay full repair and/or replacement costs should the e-reader or any accessories be lost,
stolen, not returned, or damaged in any way (e.g. water, extreme temperatures or excessive
tobacco smoke).
 That the Library may use any appropriate means to collect the amount owed for fees ($2 per day
overdue and $25 charge if returned in the drop box), damage, loss, or theft of the Electronic Device.
 That failure to comply with any of these rules and guidelines will result in the loss of the
privilege of borrowing an Electronic Device.
I have read and received a copy of the E-Reader Lending Policy and my signature indicates my
agreement to comply with these documents.

Your check or credit card information will be returned to you when the kit is checked in. Card will be
charged full amount of kit plus $5 charge fee if kit is not returned within 30 days of due date.
