1. Descriptive Essay About My Best Friend
My Bestfriend & I The one thing I always seem to tell myself when it comes to friendship is,
never let go of the ones that mean the most to you. My best friend's name is Gracie. I have known
her my whole life, literally. We did/do everything together and still continue to be best friends.
Friendships are crazy, but you haven't seen crazy yet. Never have I been more grateful to have a
best friend like Gracie. Before her and I were even born, our moms were friends and had also
been for a while. I am 11 days older than her, which is kinda cool how close in age we are. After
we were born, once I got to be old enough to understand, my mom used to always tell me how
Gracie and I would do everything together, from playdates, to going shopping with our moms
when we were little. Our moms are definitely the reason why Gracie and I are still friends to this
day. When Gracie and I started getting older and really got to understand who our friends were,
we weren't really that close. Elementary school started and yes, we were friends, but not best
friends. I had a friend that I did everything with and Gracie had a friend she did everything with.
When it came to like birthday parties or anything like that us four would all hang out and do stuff
together sometimes, but other than that Gracie and I were just "friends" through elementary school.
Then we were off to Junior High. When Junior High started, Gracie and I were still friends, still not
as close though. In junior

2. Descriptive Essay About My Best Friend
My best friend, I remember it was the first days of my senior year when I met my him, we had
1st, 3rd and 7th hour together. I saw him since the first day but I didn't talk to him at all, so after a
couple days in school he sat next to me, and I was like "He seems nice, I'm going to talk to him"
so I did, I remember he had a bracelet on his hand, and say "that's a nice bracelet" he looked at me
really bad like I was bothering him and he just say "thank you" and he moved his hand away, I
was so sad because I felt like he didn't liked me, so I didn't talk to him, I was like that's what I get
for trying to be nice. After a couple weeks he kept seating next to me, one day he started talking to
me and out of nowhere we became friends, he had so many things in common, the type of music we
listen, he has a great sense of humor, I just loved his personality. But he say that's not how things
happen, at least that's how I remember them.
I truly believe it was because of proximity that we became friends, because we interact with each
other, and after the first thirty minutes of talking to him, I felt so comfortable talking with him, if
he had never sat next to me probably I wouldn't met him. Approach behaviors played a big role in our
friendship because I saw that he was interested on getting to know me and I was so interested on him
too, after spend weeks getting information about him, his background and his interest, I considered
him my truthly friend and I can be myself around him.

About Me! By: Jonna S. My Best friend My best friend is amazing! Ever since the first day of
school she's been there. Basically what happened was on the first day I was at silver hills and had
no idea who anyone was so i just sat at a table and she was like, "Hi I'm Daphnie what's your
name?," of course i said Jonna cause that's my name. Eventually we ran into each other at lunch
so we sat down and talked for awhile to each other and then we walked to my next class and I was
like wow you wanna be friends. She said of course cause i mean come on i'm amazing! Honestly
we had a lot of good memories together from the 6th grade and i'm very excited to create brand
new ones with her. She is amazing and I see perfection in her even though she disagrees i don't
care she is perfect in my eyes and i will always be there for her I don't care what happens between
us and i just wanna say thank you and i love you best friend! My Runaway! Hot air, windy breeze,
beating sun, blooming season and a nice boring day! The exotic yellow bus speeding through the
overpowering wind and it took a nice sharp stop. We got off the bus and that's when our
adventurous day started. But really, what we thought was a fun day, others thought we were crazy
and scared for us! For example, both of our entire households. This is how it all started. It was a very
casual afternoon throughout school. Nothing different from any other day, until we got on the bus.

4. Friendship Essay: What Makes A Good Friend?
A friend is someone difficult to find. A friend is someone you can always count on when times
are tough. The dictionary's definition of a good friend is a person attached to another by feelings
of affection or personal regard. A good friend is there when you are struggling. For example,
when a boy breaks your heart a good friend walks you through it and offers a shoulder to cry on.
According to Bree Neff, a good friend is someone who is trustworthy, doesn't talk behind your
back, listens to your problems, gives good advice and tries to lend humor along with his or her
support. There are also bad friends, those who pretend to care and then turn around gossiping and
starting drama. Good and bad friends are all around you, involved in...show more content...
You want friends that show they care and do not resent your achievements. A good friend sees
good in your accomplishments; because of this they will not want you to do poorly and will
always be looking out for you, hoping you do your best. A trustworthy friend is someone you can
count on no matter what. They are someone you can call in the middle of the night and vent to, or
just talk. They are someone who, if they say they are going to do something, they do it and don't
bail out. Good friends are people with whom you can talk to and trust with your secrets. You can
tell a friend anything and know they won't open their mouth just for the fun of it because they
like and respect you too much to hurt you. If you have something you feel like you can't tell
anyone about, they are the friends you can tell. A good friend is someone who when you tell
them personal stuff you don't have to worry, you know your secret is safe. Trusted friends are
those you can tell your flaws to and know your revelations are safe. Sometimes after you tell
people certain information you think: "What in the world was I thinking?" but a trustworthy person
won't ever make you feel like that. What is a loyal friend? A loyal friend is someone who never lets
you down. They are someone who does things with you even though these things maybe totally
boring, but they still do them. Loyal friends won't back out at the last second. They stick with

5. Descriptive Essay About Best Friend
Best Friends I can't wait to start school and see Charlotte and Maya again since fifth grade is
starting in just a few days! They have been my BFFs forever, especially Charlotte. I have known
Charlotte since first grade. I had been new that year and I was super shy. Charlotte kept trying to
talk to me, but I was too nervous to talk to her. Charolette then was figure skating with her fingers
on the desk, gliding her fingers on the glossy layer of wood. Her fingers were figure skating! I
started to do the same, and from that moment on we were inseparable. Charlotte and I are a lot
alike, and in many ways we are not alike. She has short white blond hair and she is a short person.
I have long brown hair with curls on the end, and I am a tall...show more content...
I quickly gazed in the direction she looked when she stuttered with her words, wondering what could
have possibly made her stop her sentence.
"Ahh!!!" I screamed out quietly, forgetting everything Charlotte had told me.
I could not contain myself. When I turned in my seat towards the back of the room, I was met with
the most demented, most disgusting, and retarded kid I have EVER seen! That had to be August.
He had a face that looked like a cut up omelet! Charlotte was right, his proportions were all messed
up, with one eye drooping towards his mouth and one leaning towards his forehead!
Lunch Time Charlotte and I sit at a table and Maya, Lina, Meghan, Summer and Rand come to join
us. I sat next to Charlotte and Maya, and Lina, Meghan, Summer, and Rand sat across from us. I
know Lina, Meghan, and Summer from lower school. The only new girl is Rand. This seemed like a
pretty good lunch table. There has always been different groups of friends in our grade that sit at
different tables. For instance, there is Savanna's table the popular group, that consists of Savanna,
Xmenia, Callie, Stacie (Callie's twin sister), Hollie, Gretchen, Lillie, and Elizabeth. I have always
longed to be at that table, sitting with all the popular girls, but deep down inside I know I don't want
to leave Charlotte and all my other friends behind. At my lunch table we began to talk about the
funny way August was eating, and then Lina made a really mean comment about Auggie that I can

Best friend becomes enemy. It was first day of summer. School almost finished. It was sunny and
windy day. I was happy that school almost finished. My friend and I were sitting at the park. We

summer but I didn't agree with him. He was a lazy gay. His plan was: sleep till 11 a.m., and then
play video games till 5 p.m. and then go to sleep. He says that this must continue every day. I

7. Descriptive Essay About My Best Friend
As we grow older, we meet new people and make new friendships. Out of all the people you meet
there is always that one friend that you click with the most. That being said a best friend is
someone you look out for and care for like sibling. As we grow older we have a perception of
growing old and having your best friend by your side, but I came to the realization one morning
that it is not true. I found out my childhood best friend past away from a drug overdose. New to
Kissimmee I did not know what to expect. I was always a shy kid. Not thinking I was going to
make any friends anytime soon I met this kid in my neighborhood called Jacob. Turns out we got
on the same bus and sat next to each other on our way to elementary school. We never got the
same class until fourth grade. Let me tell you the teacher was not happy me and Jacob were a tag
team of little dare devils. Every day we would meet up after school and ride our bikes and do some
crazy activities like ding–dong ditch some houses and blow up some fireworks on any average day.
Aside from all that we were still young innocent kids we loved playing ball and just having fun
with all the kids around the neighborhood. It was like a small family of a couple of friends. Being
the shy one from all the group Jacob thought me how to be loud and express myself how I wanted
to. I always looked up to Jacob and his sense of excitement. His attitude made me find the meaning
of having fun and enjoying life for the small moments it

8. I Met My Best Friend
For every person that exists, there is at least one other person with whom they will laugh with,
love with, and live life with. These are the people who will support the decisions you make,
encourage you to keep going after massive failures and love you despite all your flaws. We cherish
the relationships we build and the friendships we have because without friends, we would be alone.
I met my best friend when I was eleven–years–old. Our teacher forced us to sit next to each other
after the first few days of school. We didn't talk to each other much because we both had our own
friends. However, one day, we decided to each lunch together and we started hanging out more
and more. Soon, we became inseparable. People could tell that we were best friends by the way
we acted around each other. Much like my best friend and I, the devotion and loyalty between two
friends are shown through real life interactions. However, written words can also show how much
two friends care for one another. Text messages and wedding speeches may seem to have no
connection to each other but both genres reveal how close two people are. A wedding speech is
usually given by the maid–of–honor and the best man. These two positions hold special meaning
because it is meant to be given by someone whom the bride and groom cherish and love. To be
given the position of maid–of–honor or best man already shows how much love and respect the
bride or groom has for their friend. Wedding speeches, in return, show

9. My Day With My Best Friend
After a long stressful test, I was going to spend the day with my best friend, Katherine, for the
first time after, so long now that her mom trusted me more. "Honk!'' was the sound I heard that
signaled me that Katherine's dad was here. She opened the door, as usual because she was so
courteous to me at school. I got into the rusty gray Honda. Once I got into the car I knew it was
out of my comfort zone because it was my first time meeting Katherine's Dad outside of school.
"Hello, Katherine 's dad," I said tentatively. He responded back with a simple hello and simply
resumed his talk with Katherine as if she had never left the car. They were talking, so quick I had
no idea what to do, so I kept quiet the whole car ride and looked out the window. The whole car
ride was of a foreign language I had barely heard Katherine speak at school, when her mom, my
5th grade math teacher came around. Now as if she had been liberated from those chains that kept
her from speaking her native language, she spoke endlessly with her dad. We arrived at our
destination and to my surprise, it was a church. I had never my life been to church on a Saturday
afternoon, most likely because my mom and I only had time to come to church on SundayВґs.So
many things were happening at the same time in the same room where Katherine's dad left us.
There was a karate class happening right in front of us while some feet in front there were tables
with roses, string, markers, all scattered up.

My Best Friend
Have you ever had someone in your life who helped you figure out who you were? Someone who
showed you the right path. Someone who was there right next you even if you did not take that
path. Someone who always seemed to be right, but never held it against you when you were not.
Someone whom without your life would most likely be entirely different. I have. Her name was
Jessica. Jessica was more than my neighbor. She was more than my mentor. She was my best friend.
Jessica lived three houses down from me when I moved into a new neighborhood. She made moving
to a new neighborhood a lot easier. She was one of those people who was friends with everybody.

She would listen to you. She would be your friend, even if she just met you. I can not remember a
time when she had something unpleasant to say about someone. That was one of many valuable
lessons I learned from her and have made apart of my life.
She seemed to know everything. Anytime I had a perplexing question I knew she would know
what to tell me. Her wisdom spanned several subjects. Everything from the textbook things they
wanted me to learn in school, to the life lessons that there are no textbooks for. She taught me by
example. She showed me that it was just a waste of my time and energy getting mad, upset, angry
or so irate that I allowed myself to be controlled by my emotions. She was always calm, patient, and
even tempered when faced with people who were less than pleasant to be around. I learned from
watching her deal with people that being nice never fails. And I learned from watching her deal
with the situations life would present that as long as you gave everything you had to give and never
quit, you could never be beat.
Jessica was a truly amazing friend. She was a true friend. I could always depend on her being
there for me with the right words of advice. Even if I did not want to hear what she was saying.
She had been exactly where I was and she knew how perilous the journey of adolescence could be.
She informed and guided me in my choices. Yet she never forced anything on me. My

12. Narrative Essay About My Best Friend
I remember it being a cold Saturday night. One of my best friends was so messed up he wasn't
able to talk much, only stare. We were all worried for him because he was the guy who never
dabbled in these things, an average teenager with feelings, hopes, and dreams, so why him? This
was the first time I realized how drugs and alcohol can take a severely negative toll on anybody,
even those closest to you. I received a snapchat from Colton* saying that Anthony had been
drugged at one of the fraternity parties they had attended after a football game. I called as fast as I
could, as I was worried for his well–being. He had been drinking beer and someone had slipped a
hallucinogen, most likely LSD, in his drink. The next morning, he told me...show more content...
Even if a student does not engage in any use, it is highly common that someone they know will at
some point in their life. When teenagers begin this activity, it can rapidly escalate, leading to
addiction or the use of heavier drugs. Teenagers are not able to fully comprehend how this will affect
them mentally or physically, short term or long term. Attending a large school, I have witnessed
many people I know struggle with addiction to pills, marijuana, tobacco, and alcohol. These people
don't realize that they are putting these things above everything in life, and they are struggling
academically, as well as socially. It is hard for other teenagers to help since they don't want to get
their friends in trouble or they're simply unaware of how severe the situation is.
Along with the mental and physical issues drugs and alcohol can cause, teenagers are also
unaware of the legal consequences that come along with being caught with these substances.
Being a minor in possession of alcohol or drugs can be charged with hefty fines, and even
incarceration. If drugs or alcohol are in possession or being used at school, students can expect to
receive a suspension, crossroads, or even expulsion. They can also be removed from any clubs,
teams, and certain classes. The only reason students have knowledge of these consequences is from
observing the outcome others face after they get caught. At this age, we should know the
consequences before an incident occurs

There is nothing in life that can compare to meeting your other half. Meeting my best friend was
definitely a life changing event in the best way. She is the most loyal and absolutely the most
trustworthy long–term friendships that I have ever experienced. I have been given the opportunity
in life to come face to face with my best friend, she has changed my life in various ways. No one
that I have met can compete with how well her and I mix. Like peanut butter and jelly, we are
good alone but better together. Through thick and thin my best friend and I have lasted 8 going 9

To this day Maria is my ride or die, we kept growing up and when my father got me a car for my
birthday it became even better. We both see each other almost every week and hang out to eat,

personalities, we definitely never take that for granted. She has persistently gotten me through all
of my rough patches, with that being said, every time we talk she knew what I need to hear to get
me through or get ahead of it in life. Nonetheless, we are very alike, but we still obviously have
our differences, yet I admire how we will always cooperate and try to imagine and picture
ourselves in the other person's position. She always gives me her best friend and at the same time
her motherly advice. She is kind hearted, but is not afraid to rip the bandage when needed. We both
gossip and laugh about everything! Our conversations can go on for the longest time. There is
nothing but love to the fact that we will manage our time for each other even if our schedules are a
little hassled.
On top of that, maturing in life is very important to me. I never want to have a friend that doesn't

I have had together, it has definitely helped us mature together in life. To this day I couldn't be more

Making never thought to be friends. I never thought in my wildest dreams that I would ever be

we never saw each other, she ran away, the carnival, and the movies. First, when I first started
going to my grandmother's when I was 9. My aunt Jessica still was friends with my grandmother
albeit she is her daughter. So I would come over to their house. I never talked to Julie so I didn't
know much about her. I would usually play with Jacob or Jami. One day when Jessica's husband,
Josh left, Jami at the park by herself, and someone calls Child Protective Services on them and we

once. So I never was allowed to see that part of the family often. When Julie was younger, she
believed in that grandmother was in the wrong. (Complex)
Second, once Julie turned 18 she escaped out of the house with barely anything of hers. She was not

15. Being My Own Best Friend
Being my own best friend would help me reflect on my decisions and thought processes as an
objective observer. As any best friend would do, I would try to give myself advice, try and help
myself be a better individual. If I were my own best friend, I would advise myself to stop being such
a perfectionist in everything.
I overthink things way too often: "If I hang out with my friend after school today, would I have
enough time to finish my homework? Which is more fun: going out with my friends, or staying at
home?" If I do this, if I do that. Whenever there 's a decision to be made, my mind can never make
itself up; it always seems to want to go through every possible outcome to decided which is the best
one – the perfect course of action. I can't count the number of times my mind has been so
indecisive, though I do remember stepping down as a presidential candidate in elementary school.
For the life of me, I can't remember why I did what I did; I was probably afraid of some sort of
backlash, or of simply not winning. If I were my own best friend all those years ago (especially if
I were the age I am now), that would not have happened, at least not without reason. As my own
best friend, I would tell myself to make up my mind. I would urge myself to stop thinking of the
worst–case scenario, because I am usually wrong; things almost never happen the way I think they
will.
Making decisions aren 't the only thing I over think. I stay mostly in my head and try to think

16. My Experience With My Friends
Growing up I could identify my friends whom I found to be more sensitive, friendly and
imaginative. These were the friends that I could turn to when I had a problem I needed to talk
through or someone who was sincere and honest in their advice while being mindful of my
feelings. I could also identify with these friends because I have always been one to make sure
everyone else is taken care of before myself. These "blues" are the most genuine people I have met
throughout life, but I have also found in my classroom. Just three days ago, one of my students
answered a question that normally does not volunteer to participate. He answered correctly and his
fellow peer whom he is not within the same social circle could not be more proud of him. She was
astonished and proud of his answer and continued to whisper (loudly) across the room good job with
her thumbs up until he realized her recognition and smiled back with a thank you. I was so proud to
have this student in my classroom showing such compassion for another student. This generation is
criticized for only thinking of themselves and although not untrue, it is moments like that, that
remind me of how lucky I am to have blues in the classroom. As blues strengths including caring for
others and sharing their emotions are compromised by them feeling hurt or treated unjustly, they
take it personally. It's important to reassure and validate their feelings. Lastly are the students who
carefully analyze my words, actions,

17. My Best Friend Moving Away
One of the major adversities in my life was my best friend moving away when I was eleven.
Looking back, when I was eleven my best friend and the only other kid that lived in the
neighborhood moved away. Additionally, I knew him since I was four years old and we use to
play seven days a week and our families were also close. When he moved, I took it hard and I was
sad and lonely. I always tried to find things to keep me busy, but the results were always the same,
I was alone. What helped me overcome this adversity was being positive, having flexibility,
perseverance, and creativity. I was able to keep myself positive and not fall into a depression
because I would keep telling myself that new kids will move into the neighborhood. Another is
flexibility, I was able to adapt to the change rather quickly by playing games that only involved
one person instead of games that needed two players or more. Additionally, perseverance is
another quality that I had that allowed me to not give up and keep finding ways to entertain
myself when I missed my friend or needed to invent a new one person game when I got bored of the
other one person games I created. I was also creative in finding ways to solve my problem by
thinking of ways to replace my friend. For example, creating games to play by myself and asking my
parents to buy me a pet or a video game system called Nintendo. However, there are also
environmental factors outside of myself that helped me get through this adversity. My

18. My Cousin Is My Best Friend
Some people don't even know their cousins or they don't talk to them at all. That is not the case for
me. My cousin is my best friend. She has been my best friend since I was little. She is a big part of
my life and I can tell her everything. We lived down the road from each other for many years and
we would be together all the time. We were inseparable and we still are today. My cousin, Brie
Pulczinski, is a big influence on my life. She is 19 years old and she lives in West Fargo, so not too
far away. Some cousins look alike somewhat but Brie and I do not look alike at all. Brie has dark
brown hair–almost black. We are about the same height. Brie has a great personality, there are so
many reasons to love her. She is someone I can look up to and always go to for advice. Also, it
seems like a lot of stuff doesn't get her down and if she is down she is not a person to constantly
complain about it. We may be five years apart in age but when we are together none of that
matters. Brie and I are alike in so many ways. There are so many memories we have together;
some good, some bad but I wouldn't trade them for the world. I'm not going to lie, when we were
younger we were trouble makers. Brie was not a very good influence when we were younger. Her
and her brother Chase would always try to make me do stuff to get me in trouble. When I was
younger, they were the older kids and I always wanted to be cool just like them. So, I did literally
everything they told me to do. Which

19. Personal Essay : My Sister, My Best Friend
Out of anyone in my life, my sister is truly the person I respect and look up the most We have had
our ups and downs but she is always there for me when I need her and I am always there for her
when I can be. She's my sister, best friend but most importantly my twin sister. She's the one I
grew up with, the one that's always there for me. We have a bond that nobody or anything could
break. As close as we are today I can say I would be completely lost without her.
My sister and I have moments where we both feel weird whenever we are not around each other
because as I twin we feel like we can't be separate for one minute. Either of both of us will start
missing each other like crazy. And that is just a thing her and me have. And when it comes to
missing my sister I get crazy because I just can't be with anybody else but her. And I mean it
because I will start, texting her, calling her, I will do anything to be together every day. But having
a conversation is important when it comes not talking to each other. According to Albert's he once
said: " Conversation plays, an important role in friendship as well." (Albert's, p.190). Having a
conversation to one each other it is really important because you will know what the person is feeling
today or tomorrow, it is a good thing that people communicate because is simply the act of
transferring information from one place to another.
However, as grown women's we are, it is time to face reality we will have to separate each other one

20. Personal Narrative Essay : My Best Friend
My best friend is always there when I need her the most, has my back when times get rough, and I
can always tell her my deepest darkest secrets. My best friend's name is Tea Elaine Valentine. We
have been best friends for nine years and counting. We met in the third grade. I was introduced to
Tea by another friend of mine. She thought I was weird at first, but as she got to know me we
have been best friends ever since. Tea and I are two different people. Tea is more of the
outspoken, no filter, and whatever comes to mind is said. I'm more of the quiet and laid back. I
have learned many things from Tea like learning how to speak up for myself, never to let anyone
walk all over me, and it is okay to say how you feel. Are friendships have stayed strong this many
years because of our loyalty, listening ear, and always being there for each other. From third
grade to sixth grade Tea and I were stuck together like glue. Every day after school we would call
each other on the house phone and we would talk for hours. When it was time for the weekend I
was always at her house or she was at my house to spend the night. My after school routine was
the same as always but this phone conversation started off different. "I have something to tell
you," Tea said."Yes?" I replied. She said "I'm moving to Big Rapids next year" . After hearing this
news I was so devastated. I felt like I was losing my best friend. She was only moving three hours
away, I felt like she was moving across the
