Tú affirmative commands
(go away, be quiet, etc.) – said to someone
you are on a first name basis with
To make an affirmative command (which
means not negative) just use the él/ella form
of the verb:
Talk! … ¡Habla!
Work with me. … Trabaja conmigo.
Eat your peas. … Come los guisantes.
Object pronouns attach to the end of
affirmative commands:
Talk to me! … ¡Háblame! Notice the accent on the 3rd syllable back.
Sing it (the song – la canción) … Cántala.
Eat them (your peas). … Cómelos.
Watch it (the program). … Míralo.
Wash him (the dog). … Lávalo.
