Discussion forums should be part of the staple diet for every online course. They promote collaboration and interactivity as participants exchange ideas, ask questions, get answers and work together. Forums are flexible, fun and easy to use. In this session, you will learn how to: +Post course-related news and announcements; +Create different forums types for specific purposes including general discussion, Q&A, single simple discussion and each person posts one discussion; +Configure settings including subscription, read tracking and post thresholds; +Use forums in more creative and less conventional ways.
