2. Greenhouse, Climate change, Global Warming Greenhouse effect is when energy is trapped by a one-way wall (the atmosphere) Climate change is the gradual change of local and global environments Global warming is a proposed and very popular theory that the earth is getting warmer
3. Relations The greenhouse effect is blamed for causing global warming Global warming is part of climate change They are often thought of as one thing, but that’s wrong
4. Global Warming causes Global warming is happening naturally, but alarmists most people think it’s because of humans Apparently human civilization is raising CO2 levels, but this is controversial.
5. Possible Consequences Temperature will continue to rise at a faster pace, and we will enter an ice age after 3-4 thousand years This is bound to happen, but some think it’s going to happen sooner Technology may be advanced enough to reverse it at that point, though. We just have to not blow ourselves up over the debate though.
6. GW and economy Global warming is causing many counties to spend immense amounts of money of greenhouse gas emission reduction Corporations are doing this also Alternative energy is extremely expensive, and won’t be practical for 30-40 years, but people are pushing for it anyway (and spending billions)
7. What you can do Buy solar panels, it’s a wise investment Get better insulation in your house, and turn the heater down. Make your home more efficient. Tell people the facts (not opinions!) and give them a better understanding of the situation Buy a diesel car and power it with cooking oil
8. Against Global Warming Some people think it’s a hoax by Al Gore (but they’re crazy) Others (Like us) think it’s totally natural. It may be good for civilization, because some of the most important points in history occurred during warm periods
9. Opinions (gets a little crazy in here) We both think it’s totally natural. The temperature may be going up but who cares about that! It’s supposed to happen Nature will adapt, as long as we don’t interfere (We’ve got an F there, so far)
