5. Impetus for student generated projects
The SAMR Model is a framework created by Dr. Ruben Puentedura that categorizes four different degrees of classroom
technology integration.
6. Why digital projects?
• Change routine – not another PowerPoint or Word doc
• New skills
• generating contemporary media
• Information transfer to other formats
• Creativity – work with layout, colour, design elements
