4. What is the ASSURE model?
The ASSURE Model is an instructional guide for
planning and conducting lessons that aim to integrate
media and technology while focusing on the learner's
needs. (ASSURE Model, n.d.)

ASSURE.
The ASSURE model incorporates Robert Gagne's events of
instruction to assure effective use of media in instruction.

U — Utilize technology, media & materials
R — Require learner participation

Integrating technology into the curriculum is the best way
to make a positive difference in education. There are many
specific strategies that can be used to incorporate
technology into our lesson. The ASSURE model can be used
as a guide to integrate technology into your future lessons.
