INTRODUCTION
. A HELMET AIRBAG SYSTEM is a
type of head protection unit which
provides CUSHIONING effect while
falling / accident. This includes a
processing circuit configured to
receive object data including
positional data regarding the
relative acceleration of the object to
control operation of an inflation
device to inflate an airbag unit.
DISCRIPTION OF IDEA
 ONCE MY FAMILY WAS THE VICTIM OF A
ROAD ACCIDENT INSIPTE OF WEARING
HELMET THEY GOT INJURED
 EVERYDAY NEARY 1400 ACCIDENTS TAKE
PLACE IN INDIAN ROADS
 AS THERE IS RAPID INCREASE TECHNOLONY
AND ENHANCEMENT IN SPEED OF VEHICLES
RESULTING IN INCREASE IN NUMBER OF ROAD
ACCIDENTS.
 SO BY DOING THE RESEARCH AND MARKET ANALYSIS WE
FOUND THE SOLUTION OVER THESE PROBLEMS , SO
BASICALLY THE IDEA IS TO HAVE A MODIFIED
HELMET WHICH PROVIDES LEAST INJURIES
WHILE METING WITH AN ACCIDENT.
OBJECTIVES OF PROJECT
 To Develop an Innovative idea for HELMET
AIRBAG SYSTEM in form of a business plan.
 To Understand importance and relevance of
innovative idea, its feasibilities and detail
description
FACT AND FIGURE OF ROAD
ACCIDENTS
FUNCTIONINGOF AIRBAG UNIT
 Airbags are inflatable
cushions to protect
occupants during a
collision.
HOW AIRBAG WORKS
Sensors in the front of a vehicle
detect a collision sending an
electrical signal to a canister that
contains sodium azide detonating
a small amount of an igniter
compound. The heat from the
ignition causes nitrogen gas to
generate, fully inflating the airbag
in 0.03 seconds.
SYSTEM COMPONENTS
 Airbag Unit Consist Of Sensors, Nan3 ,
Solar Panel .
 Sensors- This Is The Main Component
Of Our Unit . It Will Detect The
Movement Of The Object And Inflate
The Air Bag Mechanism During Collision
.
 Nan3- Its An Chemical Formula That
Produce Nitrogen Gass Which Is Use To
Inflate The Bag .
 50 Gram Of Sodium Azide
Produces 70 Litre Of Nitrogen.
 So, 1 Gram = 1.4 Litre Of Nitrogen.
 We Need Only 20 Litre Of Nitrogen
Which Will Be Produced By 15
Gram Nan3.
 And For Power Supply To The
Sensors Will We Use Small Solar
Panel.

IDEA SCREENING
SWOT ANALYSIS
STRENGTHS:
• Monopolistic : there will be monopoly of our product in a
market as there is a single seller in a market. We are the sole
supplier of a good or service in a market.
• No competition: our idea is very unique and different , such
type of innovation idea not yet came into the market so there
will be no any tough competitors exist in the market of our
product.
• Uniqueness: our product is particularly remarkable ,special ,
unusual , and only one of its kind. It have a quality of its own.
• Emotional response: as our helmet airbags provide safety to
our customers, also reduces the chances of uncertain
accidents so it will emotionally relate to our customers & also
brings a good relationship between us and our customers.
• Innovation and creativity: innovation means to renew
something and creativity refers to the tendency to make or
produce new things by using some technical skills &
imagination . So our product have both innovation & creativity
WEAKNESSES:
 No previous activity in this sector . I mentioned
something similar in our threats but now it has an
internal meaning, we don’t have any experience in
motorbikes sector or in safety sectors so we will
have to learn during the activity.
 No brand name . Obviously we don’t have any
recognition from customers because of the
nonexistent previous activity and that runs against
us.
 Lack of contacts and relationships. We don’t have
any agent company contact or any manufacturing or
material supplier previous relationship which would
be really helpful . Now Knowing all our factors we
should analyse them and try to reduce the impact of
the harmful ones and try to maximize the impact of
OPPORTUNITIES:
 Lack of competitors in the market. Which means the
absent of other similar products which could steal
our part of the market or put our business at risk.
 Good project aim (prevent and avoid motorbike
accidents). Which would help us to convince every
single customer that we want to help in the
motorbike society.
 Increase in the number of motorbike riders and
motorbike sales. Which means the raise of target
customers every year.
THREATS:
 Completely new product to bring into
the market. Which could result in
taking some risks like mistrust from
customers.
 Easily apparition of copy competitors.
Ones in the market we will be in risk
from big companies which will be able
to copy our product and bring it to the
market so quickly.
MARKETING STRATEGY
 A MARKETING STRATEGY IS A LONG TERM PLAN FOR ACHIEVING A
CAMPANIES GOAL BY UNDERSTANIDNG THE NEEDS OF
CUSTOMERS AND CREATING THE DISTINCT AND SUSTANINABLE
COMPITATIVE ADVANTAGE
MARKETING STRATEGY IS EVRY THING FROM DETERMING WHO
YOUR CUSTOMERS ARE TO DECIDING WHAT CHANNELS YOU USE
TO REACH THOSE CUSTOMERS
THIS INCLUDES 4P’S
PRODUCT – AIRBAG UNIT FOR HELMETS
PRICING - 600 TO RS 800
PLACE – OUR CONSUMER CAN BUY OUR PRODUCT FROM RETAIL
UNIT , ONLINE STORES ETC
PROMOTIONS- WE WILL CREATE AWARENESS , NEED AND BENEFITS
OF THE PRODUCT AMONGST CUSTOMER THROUGHT
ADVERTISMENT ( THROUGHT PAMPLETS , NEWSPAPER,
HOARDINGS , INTERNET ETC)
OUR TARGET MARKET
As we all know india is two wheelers dominated
country with about 600 million riders that is 60 crore
peoples are riding two wheelers.
Our airbag unit target auidience/market are mainly
two wheelers like
 Bicycle riders.
 Bike riders.
 Atv riders.
Valuation of helmet airbag
system
COST OF PRODUCTION FOR PER
UNIT
 SODIUM AZIDE = RS 45 FOR 15 GRAMS
 NYLON TEXTILES = RS 200
 SENSORS AND LABOURS = RS 200
TOTALS = RS 445
SO EACH UNIT SELL AT A PRICE OF RS 600 TO
RS 800
WITH A PROFIT PERCENTAGE OF 25% TO 44%
REVENUE MODEL
 The company sells airbag unit in the range of
rs 600 to 800 under the brand name ‘HAS’
 A part from selling air bag unit the campany
also in the bussiness of motor cycle
accessories like air bag unit fitted with
helmets .
 The 90% of the revenue will comes from air
bag unit and 10% comes motor cycle
accessories.
 The 92.3% of bussiness will come from
domestic market and rest 7.97% will come
from export
FINANCIAL FEaSIBILITY
Financial feasibility means the ability of a project to
achieve sufficient income, credit, and cash flow to
financially sustain the project over the long term and meet
all debt obligations.
Companies expenses –
• We need approx Rs 10 lackh to begin the business.
• Within 2 years Return On Investment (ROI) will be
seen.
Revenues –
• Each unit sell at a price of rs 600 to 800 with a profit
percentage of 25% to 44%.
Liabilities-
• An investment of Rs 6 lakh will be from our sides
and rest of the investment is from financial
institution of Rs 4 lakh.
Equity
• Equal equity is distributed among all 6 members
of “HAS” company.
