research there’s no need to start from scratch, people find information and data from
computers and books.
Some examples of primary research methods:
Interview:
Interviews are a way of getting information about people’s opinions and how they see
things and can ensure all questions are understood and have a better connection.
Interviews can be used at a job interview to ask someone questions to see if there suitable
enough for the job. Interviews can be face to face or telephone disadvantages you can’t see
the person if you’re having a conversation on a telephone and you don’t know how
presentable they are. Advantages you can see how presentable they are if it’s a face to face
interview and how there characteristic shows.
Survey:
A survey is collecting information by sending out questionnaires and going public places
asking unknown people to answer them. A survey will be used in the street or sent out

to be released. Advantages you can see yourself what might need improving and get useful
feedback. Disadvantages are that if the product doesn’t promote it would be a waste of
money setting it all up.
Questionnaire:
A questionnaire is a set of printed or written questions with a choice of answers that you
can pick from. Advantages you have more than one answer to choose from. Disadvantages
you don’t get to say your opinion, you can only select the answers they give you.

The advantages are that the librarians can help you and you can access the internet or look
at books. The disadvantages of using the library is hours of operation and library’s only open
