The
Grandstand
As part of and equestrian resort, the
grandstand is designed on a 3560 m² plot
and combines a parade ring and a main
building.
The parade ring is where the horses meet
their Jokeys and gives the spectators
a chance to see them before the races.
168 regular places and 14 VIP seats are
available for racegoers along with a VIP
lounge and press rooms.
The ground level includes a reception
hall, administration and jokey prepration
spaces.
50 exterior parking spaces available to
visitors and workers are located on either
sides of the entrance driveway.

As an equestrian
compound project, the
initial design ideas
were revolving around
mouvement and dynamic
forms.
The design concept draws
its origin from the form
and mouvement of the
horse back, abstracted
into a waveform.
The cover structure was
devided into three parts,
symbolizing the three
podium finalists and from
there generating three
seperate curves that
create this unique shape
that covers the building
and provides shading to
the racegoers.

LOYDANCE
ACADEMY
The Project combines a primary and
secondary school designed on a 10 000
m² plot.
The maximum height allowed per
regulations is 15.5 m and the set backs
and acces points as per athorities
recommendations.
The project was devided into to buildings
connected by a walkway.
The first and main building holds the
classroomsandlabsaswellasalibraryand
admnistration, while the secondcombines
an indoor gym and auditorium in addition
to a caffeteria.
Thesportsandplayequipementarelocated
near the gym area and the dedicated pool
is accessible from the ground floor.
The basement is for parking spaces and
utility equipement.

while the pedestrian entrance con-
tinues towards main building and
leads to administration and school

courtyards, to achieve balance be-
