Dr. Nassar is an assistant professor of Management and Marketing at the Gulf University for Science and Technology (GUST). He earned his doctoral degree (PhD.) from the Cardiff School of Management, University of Wales in the UK. He has been engaged with teaching since 1990, after completing a BSc. degree in Hotel and Tourism Management in the University of Alexandria, he joined the teaching faculty and started his academic career. He also earned his MSc. from the University of Alexandria and his MPhil. from the University of Wales/UK, in 2001. He is a certified Tourism Destination Manager and Marketer from the George Washington University in the USA
