ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 HSE Management-system and advice the project team on all HSE matters.
 Ensure appropriate HSE Management System the company.
 Ensure Inspection of personal protective equipment and Fire Safety items.
 Monitoring the client and contractors of SAFETY and HSE performance with the
company requirements.
 Ensure Contractor Toolbox talks and SAFETY meeting are conducted in professional
manner and meet their intended objectives.
 SAFETY and HSE cases for the Management of the HAZARDS and recovery from
incident/accident.
 Executing proposals for SAFETY Department. Develop, implement, and manage a
JOB SAFETY plans and STOP Program to client and contactor Personals.
 Establish the SAFETY and HSE culture within the project team. For client and
contractor by making and ensuring effective communication with all levels of project
personals.
 Coordinate and gathering of all reportable HSE statistics.
 Review incident/accidents data for trends and areas of systematic weakness within the
department.
 Initiate revision of existing forms/checklist for inspection of equipment and make
necessary forms for auditing and monitoring of safety at site, same thing with the
inventory of the equipments and accessories in line with the expiry of their third party
certificates.
 Prepares in advance for the entry requirements of manpower, vehicle, and equipment
at working sites in compliance with policies and procedures by main contracting
company not to affect the flow of operations/activities especially during mobilization.
 Prepares emergency plan and procedures with proper coordination to the nearest
hospital and with the ambulance from main contracting company.
 Review and update the risk assessment of the project and gave an advice to the
Project manager for the preventive measures of the identified risks, and advise the
same for the contingency plan of the deficiencies made and/or noted from previous
works or activities.
 Conduct safety induction and safety toolbox talks to all personnel and workers at the
site as standard norms and procedures at every construction project to meet their
intended objectives.
 Attended and represented the al TMEG Company to the safety meetings from main
contractor, client and with other sub-contractor for proper coordination and
implementation of safety.
 Issues warning citations to those not complying with safety policies and regulations and
impose penalty/fines to those doing unnecessary/unsafe act redundantly which creates
to near miss conditions.
