AWB Package Scanner is a simple solution to track packages delivered by your staff. Very useful software for transport companies. The delivery person can use the mobile app, either on their Android phone or iPhone, to quickly scan the barcode on the package to retrieve the AWB, then take a photo of the actual parcel. The photo is saved in the device and sent to a FTP server either right away, or when an internet connection is available. For increased security, the FTP server is protected by being included in a secure, private APN network provided by the mobile network operator used by the courier.

AWB Package Scanner is a simple solution to track packages
delivered by your staff. Very useful software for transport companies.

How it works?

4. As soon as the user opens the app, it will acces
his camera in order to capture the barcode of the
product/package.
Just placing the barcode inside the viewer rectangle
will make the app scan it.

5. Once the barcode is scanned it will be displayed on the screen
and the user will be presented with the option to take a photo of
the product/package as well.

6. Once the barcode is scanned and the picture is taken, the
user will be able to upload them to the server.

If the user does not have internet acces at that time, the data
will be stored locally, until until an internet connection is
available

7. This solution was implemented for the Romanian transporter Chronos Curier.
