Result of a classroom challenge: make a state advertising campaign about some of the class’s freedom heroes. One of the aims was to bring our spirit up in a time of difficulties. As our heroes, we should never give up.
A Critique of the Proposed National Education Policy Reform
Churchill
1. Winston Leonard Spencer-Churchill
“Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning
of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the
beginning.”
Sir Winston Churchill, Speech in November 1942
Winston Churchill was a politician, the Minister of Defence and later the Prime
Minister of the United Kingdom during the World War II. Then he became a writer
and won the Nobel Prize of Literature. If it were not for Churchill, there would be a
very good chance that we, the Western civilisation, would be living under a
totalitarian state. He inspired nations for several years, motivating them to keep
fighting for their freedom. He brought hope and led his people to victory in the
World War II against Hitler. He was the greatest political leader of the twentieth
century. He stood by his convictions, he was utterly devoted to politics.
We should all follow his example, we should keep on fighting for what we
believe in. We should inspire others, and make the world a better place.
