This document outlines the agenda for a two-day seminar on vocational education and training in Turkey. The seminar aims to help Turkish participants in education and the private sector learn about European policies and priorities for vocational training to meet labor market needs. Over the two days, there will be presentations from various European countries on their vocational education systems and qualifications frameworks. Panel discussions will focus on measuring industry trends, responding to changes, and stakeholder involvement in developing qualifications. The event is organized by the European Commission to help Turkey strengthen its vocational training programs.

2. Aim of the meeting:
The aim of the meeting is to expose to Turkish participants, actors in the field
of vocational education and training (VET), the European and Turkish policy
and priorities on VET to meet the labour market needs.
Turkish actors in the field of education and in the private sector, who will
discover the European dimension of the issue and examples from different EU
countries, will see the value of qualifications for sectors and have an idea about
how stakeholders can be involved in the development of qualifications. The
meeting will also concern the programmes available in Turkey and activities of
European organizations working on VET.
