The following are wall murals painted by students during 2009-10 in Ontario,Canada; except for the mural executed in Holguin,Cuba. The designs come from a portfollio I use to intice the students. Those students with artistic design are encouraged to incorporated their images into the overall wall concept. These projects fall under "Cultural Appreciation From A First Nation Perspective". 5. Symbolic Interpretation You will notice that there is a repetition of images in each of the murals. This repetition is a reminder of the following: The animals represent our Dodems (Our Spirit Helpers) and various Clans we are of. The plants represent the medicinal world our early relations lived in.
