  1. 1. The Museum of Cham Sculpture is located in Da Nang, near the Han River. It is the only museum of its kind in the world dedicated to the Champa era and was founded during the colonial French rule in 1915. The museum displays a large variety of pieces including altars, lingas, garudas, apsaras (heavenly nymphs), Ganeshes and images of Shiva, Brahma and Vishnu, all dating from the 5th to 15th

  22. 22. Dong Duong is the Buddhism center of Champa, located at the delta 20km to the south of My Son. According to the epitaph, in 875 King Indravarman II built a complex of monasteries and temples to worship the Lakshmindra Lokeshvara – a form of Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara
