First we have to
know what
Ecwid is

and Facebook page

For this tutorial we
will set up

An online store for
a facebook page

Let us start the
tutorial…

Choose a
browser

Type ecwid.com

Press enter

This is ecwid website

Get started here

or sign up here

Sign up options

You may sign up
with a PayPal account

or sign up via
facebook

or sign up via
google

Let us sign up by
filling this up

Write the details

Email I.D.

Provide password here

It’s creating the account

Welcome page

Let us be familiar
with the interface

Home page

Sales summary page

Product catalog page

Promotion page

Promotion page
is not available
for a free account

Edit Account settings here

Store summary sample

Store I.D.

We will edit the
items on the store
summary sample

To make way for
our online store

Click this…

Click this category

Delete category

Repeat to delete
the other category

By the way, the free
plan is limited to 2
Categories only

Now we will create
2 new categories
for our store

Click new root category

Fill this up

This is the new category

Choose a file to upload
image

Choose the image &
click to open

Click save

See first category

By following the
same step we will
add the second category

We now have 2 categories

Now let us delete
the sample products

Click this

Click the x sign

Confirm and click yes

The product is now deleted

Follow the same
procedure to
delete all
sample products

Let us delete the
sample customers by
clicking here

Just follow same step for
deleting products

Or simply tick on the
corresponding boxes

Click delete

Then delete all
the sample sale

Click my sales

Tick all the sample

Click delete selected

Confirm by clicking yes

Reconfirm

Let’s go & create
our online store…

You will see this page

Let us be familiar with
the toolbars first

Add products button

Verify geographical
settings here

Configure shipping here

Get paid button

Place test order

Share button

We will now create
our online store

Click either of the two
to create store

Since we already have
an FB page click this

Then, click this

Press this to launch FB store

Fill in the details from
this pop up & log in

Press okay

Press okay again

Click here to add store

This tab is now added

We successfully created
our online store

Let us add products by
clicking here

Click Product
Image to
upload photo

Choose a photo &
click open

Product photo is here

Add more product

Follow same step above

One more product is
added

For free account
you can add till
10 products only

We will add more
products by repeating
the same steps

Ten products are added

Click to save

We now have 10
products

Before we proceed
let us add category
to our products

Click catalog

Click a product

Go to the bottom of this
screen

Choose the category

Save

The product is now
categorized

We will categorize
the rest of the products
by following the same
procedure as above

All products are now
under a category

Next step is to customize
our store by clicking this

Verify your location,
then click proceed

Fill this up and save

Let us click setup shipping

Since we don’t need to
ship our products, let us
choose this option

We are done with
the shipping option

Let us click payment
options

Write the email i.d. &
enable PayPal

Let us click advanced
payments set up

Enable check payment &
Click here

On this dropdown write
the instructions & save

The changes are here

Click to save all payment
options

Now you may place
a test order

or share to your friends,
Family and customers

That your online store
will be open soon

Let us check our
Facebook page which
is now our online store
