To Whom It May Concern:
It is my pleasure to write this letter as a reference and recommendation for one of my
colleagues of over 25 years. I met Marti Roland when she was just getting her start as
an instructor. Marti is the kind of person that brings amazing energy with her to
everything that she does. Marti is kind and extremely intelligent and has a work ethic
that any employer would be fortunate to find today. She just doesn’t give up- Marti
Roland will take on challenges and make changes that improve the lives of students.
When I worked with Marti early in our careers she was one of the most passionate
people I had ever met. Marti was such a good leader even at a young age she held
several leadership positions.
Marti has followed a path in her career over the years to inspire children and youth.
Marti has experience with all types of children and youth. She has helped youth get an
education even when they are homeless, living in the streets or in their cars. She has
demonstrated how flexible she is time and again. Marti never gives up on people she
has worked with children who have lost everything but yet somehow Marti has inspired
them to still want to learn. She is so committed she created her own program called
RTI. This program helps to support children through retention and intervention. Marti
pushes children to succeed to stay in school and to get an education for a better
tomorrow.
Marti is an advocate for people. She has helped develop unique plans to support
children on the Autism Spectrum and many other types of disabilities. Marti has always
been an advocate for people with disabilities of all types. She is very knowledgeable of
the regulatory requirement in schools and communities for people with disabilities.
Marti has helped many people overcome adversity that can sometimes be created when
the environment isn’t set up to accommodate unique needs.
