B. Performance Standards The learner should be able to use the appropriate statistical tools in analyzing and interpreting
data.
C. Learning Competencies or
Objectives
At the end of this lesson, you are expected to:
1. write the correct, relevant, and valid conclusion and recommendations of the study;
2. determine the information to include in the completed research paper and
3. present the findings of your research
D. Most Essential Learning
Competencies (MELC)
(If available, write the indicated
MELC)
No available MELC
E. Enabling Competencies
(If available, write the attached

IV. PROCEDURES
A. Introduction Greetings and prayers.
Attendance.
RECALL:
Have you ever experienced a final defense? What did you do?
3. rgr2020
Objective 4: Establish safe and secure learning environments to enhance learning through the
consistent implementation of policies, guidelines, and procedures.
(The students spent months planning and carrying out their experiment, and they will be given the
opportunity to share their findings and lessons learned. Also, when conducting experiments at school
or at home, students will be reminded to follow the COVID-19 safety protocol.)
B. Development class discussion...
What are the things you learned in your research journey?
PRESENTATION OF STUDENT RESEARCH
a. Take a deep breath, stand straight, and begin.
b. Speak clearly at a reasonable pace and loudly enough to be heard by everyone.
c. Make effective use of visual aids (mounting board or PowerPoint presentations).
d. Maintain eye-to-eye contact with the panelists and the audience.
e. Create a relaxed and friendly facial expression.
f. Be enthusiastic about your project because such enthusiasm can. Motivate your audience to
be more attentive.
Students should employ strategies that are effective in developing their presentation skills. These
strategies include practicing one component at a time, modeling research presentations, and speaking
in a variety of environments.
To ensure success and confidence, the following guidelines may be used.
4. rgr2020
1. Students must make a script of their oral defense following the sequence illustrated above in
note cards. Use colored pens to designate the visual to be used.
2. Prepare visuals and arrange them in order/sequence of presentation.
3. Practice presentation in front of other people and obtain feedback.
4. Continue practicing the polished presentation until you can speak without the note cards.
Integrate the visuals into the presentation.
6. rgr2020
(The teacher will discuss some tips to help them in presenting their research paper.)
C. Engagement
Objective 5: Maintain learning environments that promote fairness, respect and care to
encourage learning.
(The students will respond to the task individually to ensure that each member truly participated in
and learned from the group experiment.)
LEARNING TASK 1
A. Directions. Jot down your thoughts on a separate sheet of paper (5pts. each).
How do you intend to analyze your data? In a few paragraphs, describe this (10 pts.).
After you have written the findings of your research, a lot a few minutes to think about how you want
to end your paper. What do you think should be included in your last chapter?
Objective 6: Maintain learning environments that nurture and inspire learners to participate,
cooperate and collaborate in continued learning.
GROUP PRESENTATION (COLLABORATIVE APPROACH):
(Each group will present their findings through a recorded video.)
Objective 1: Apply knowledge of content within and across curriculum teaching areas.
ICT Integration:
(The students must apply ICT in creating their research journey video as well as pre-recorded oral
presentations).

7. rgr2020
D. Assimilation Objective 7: Apply a range of successful strategies that maintain learning environments that
motivate learners to work productively by assuming responsibility for their own learning.
Performance Task 1: PRESENTING RESEARCH
Directions. You have finally reached the end of this module! You have experienced what it is like to
conduct research. All that remains to be done is to share what you have discovered with others.
Prepare a 10-minute presentation on the findings of your research. Share this with your teacher and
classmates and ask for their comments on your report. Improve your research paper and or your
presentation based on their advice.
RESEARCH PAPER RUBRICS (see attachment below)
9. rgr2020
English Integration:
(The teacher will remind students about the proper format for writing a formal research paper by
providing specifications for their output. Also, the students must employ the guidelines in English
speaking, especially during the oral presentation.)
Go to your Google Classroom for this task.
