The successful candidate should have significant experience with characterizing spatial
distribution of DNAPL and groundwater quality, and with groundwater-surface water interaction.
Understanding the fundamentals of DNAPL fate and transport and having the ability to build
conceptual models of subsurface processes is critical. Analytical or numerical modeling skills
are required. This position requires the ability to analyze and integrate soil, groundwater,
surface water and sediment data and communicate that understanding effectively in
